Camphorated alcohol Reig Jofre topical solution

Camphor has analgesic and rubefacient actions.
It is indicated for the relief of localized muscle or joint pain.
Do not use Camphorated Alcohol:
Warnings and Precautions
Do not use in children under 7 years old. Do not use in case of pregnancy or breastfeeding.
This medication is for topical use. It should not be used for prolonged periods or on extensive areas of skin.
Consult your doctor if symptoms persist for more than 7 days or worsen, or if irritation or redness occurs.
This medication is highly flammable. Do not use this medication near an open flame, lit cigarettes, or some devices (e.g., hair dryers).
Use of other medications
Do not use it with other topical preparations or rubefacients without consulting your doctor.
Camphorated Alcohol contains alcohol (ethanol)
This medication contains 66.7 g of alcohol (ethanol) in each 100 ml. It may cause a burning sensation on injured skin.
This medication will be used on intact skin.
Apply a small amount to the treatment area and gently rub it in. It may be applied 3 or 4 times a day. Wash your hands after each application.
Like all medications, it may have adverse effects.
In some cases, they may cause skin eruptions or irritation, and you should discontinue use or consult a doctor.
If you consider that any of the adverse effects you are experiencing are severe or if you notice any adverse effect not mentioned in this prospectus, inform your doctor or pharmacist. In the event of accidental ingestion, call the Toxicology Information Service at 91 562 04 20, indicating the medication and the amount used.
Reporting Adverse Effects
If you experience any type of adverse effect, consult your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse, even if it is a possible adverse effect not listed in this prospectus. You can also report them directly through the Spanish System for Pharmacovigilance of Medicinal Products for Human Use:www.notificaRAM.es. By reporting adverse effects, you can contribute to providing more information about the safety of this medication.
Keep out of reach and sight of children. No special storage conditions are required. It is highly flammable. Keep the container tightly closed. Do not use Alcanforated Alcohol Reig Jofre after the expiration date shown on the container.
Medicines should not be disposed of through drains or in the trash. Deposit empty containers and unused medicines at the SIGRE collection point of the pharmacy. If in doubt, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of empty containers and unused medicines. By doing so, you will help protect the environment.
