1. Qué es Differine crema y para qué se utiliza

Differine crema está indicado para el tratamiento del acné vulgar, en el que predominan los comedones, pápulas y pústulas. Es apropiado para el tratamiento del acné de la cara, pecho y espalda.

Differine crema pertenece a un grupo de medicamentos llamados antiacnéicos.

2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a usar Differine crema

No use Differine crema:

  • Si está embarazada.
  • Si planea quedarse embarazada.
  • Si es alérgico al principio activo o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluido en la sección 6).

Advertencias y precauciones

Consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de empezar a usar Differine crema.

  • Asegúrese de que Differine no entra en contacto con los ojos, labios, alas de la nariz o membranas mucosas. Si accidentalmente entrara en contacto con los ojos, lavarlos inmediatamente con agua templada.
  • Si después de aplicar el producto experimenta irritación (enrojecimiento y picor) en el lugar de aplicación, se debe interrumpir el tratamiento, consulte a su médico por si se puede disminuir la frecuencia de la aplicación, interrumpir la medicación temporalmente o permanentemente.

Si utiliza cosméticos estos deben ser no grasos ni resecantes para la piel.

Niños y adolescentes

La seguridad y eficacia no se ha establecido en niños menores de 12 años.

Otros medicamentos y Differine Crema

Informe a su médico o farmacéutico si está utilizando, o ha utilizado recientemente otros medicamentos, incluso los adquiridos sin receta.

  • No utilice otros productos para el acné (que contengan retinoides) al mismo tiempo que Differine.
  • Evite utilizar Differine al mismo tiempo que cosméticos que sean irritantes, resequen o descamen la piel.
  • El tratamiento con Differine no afecta la eficacia de anticonceptivos orales ni antibióticos administrados por vía oral.
  • Si está en tratamiento con otros productos antiacné como soluciones de eritromicina al 4% o de clindamicina fosfato al 1% (como base), o geles en base acuosa de peróxido de benzoilo hasta el 10%, podrá aplicar estos productos por la mañana y Differine por la noche.

Embarazo y lactancia:

NO use Differine si està embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada.Su médico puede darle más información.

Differine puede utilizarse durante la lactancia. Para evitar exposición por contacto del lactante, se debe evitar aplicar Differine en el pecho ya que no se sabe si Differine pasa o no a la leche materna.

Conducción y uso de máquinas:

El tratamiento con Differine no afecta a la capacidad de conducir o utilizar maquinaria.

3. Cómo usar Differine crema

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración de este medicamento indicadas por su médico. Consulte a su médico o farmacéutico, si tiene dudas.

Aplicar la crema sobre las áreas afectadas de acné, una vez al día, antes de acostarse:

  • Antes de aplicar la crema, lave y seque la zona afectada
  • Asegúrese que las zonas a tratar estén secas antes de la aplicación
  • Aplique una fina capa de crema
  • Efectúe un ligero masaje
  • Evite que la crema entre en contacto con los ojos y los labios.

Uso en niños

No puede ser utilizado en niños menores de 12 años de edad.

Si usa más Differine Crema del que debe

Este medicamento no debe ser ingerido. Es solamente para uso externo.

En caso de sobredosis o ingestión accidental, consulte inmediatamente con su médico o farmacéutico, acuda a un centro médico, o llame al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono: 91 562 04 20, indicando el medicamento y la cantidad ingerida.

Si se emplea de forma excesiva no se producirán resultados mejores ni más rápido y en cambio puede causar enrojecimiento intenso, descamación o malestar en la piel.

No aplique una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, este medicamento puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

Differine puede causar los siguientes efectos adversos en el lugar de aplicación.

Comuníquese con su médico de inmediato si nota alguno de los siguientes síntomas, es posible que necesite tratamiento médico de urgencia: Hinchazón de la cara, labios o garganta que dificulta la deglución o la respiración, erupción cutánea, picazón, urticaria y mareos. 5. Conservación de Differine crema

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No conservar a temperatura superior a 25ºC.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en la caja después de CAD o EXP. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

El principio activo es adapaleno. Cada gramo de crema contiene 1 miligramo de adapaleno.
