1. Qué es Triflusal Farmalider y para qué se utiliza

Triflusal pertenece a un grupo de medicamentos denominados antiagregantes plaquetarios, que actúan evitando la formación de coágulos (trombos) que pueden obstruir los vasos sanguíneos.

Este medicamento está indicado en adultos para reducir el riesgo de reaparición de un infarto de miocardio, de una angina de pecho estable o inestable o de un infarto cerebral en pacientes que han padecido previamente alguno de estos procesos.

También está indicado en pacientes que han sido sometidos a una operación de “bypass” coronario.

2. ANTES DE TOMAR Triflusal Farmalider

No tome Triflusal Farmalider:

  • ˜Si tiene una úlcera de estómago o antecedentes de úlcera de estómago complicada,
  • si padece cualquier otro trastorno que cause hemorragias,
  • ˜si es alérgico a triflusal o a otros salicilatos.

Tenga especial cuidado con Triflusal Farmalider:

  • Si padece trastornos del riñón o del hígado,
  • si está expuesto a riesgo de hemorragia, sea por traumatismo u otras situaciones patológicas o porque toma, durante periodos prolongados de tiempo, antiinflamatorios no esteroideos (medicamentos utilizados para tratar el dolor y/o la inflamación de músculos o articulaciones),
  • si va a someterse a alguna intervención quirúrgica. En este caso el riesgo hemorrágico debe evaluarse y, si fuera necesario, tendrá que dejar de tomar triflusal siete días antes de la intervención,
  • la seguridad y la eficacia en la población pediátrica menor de 18 años no han sido establecidas por lo tanto no está recomendada su administración.,

Consulte a su médico, incluso si cualquiera de las circunstancias anteriormente mencionadas le hubiera ocurrido alguna vez.

Uso de otros medicamentos

Informe a su médico o farmacéutico si está utilizando o ha utilizado recientemente otros medicamentos, incluso los adquiridos sin receta.

Ciertos medicamentos pueden interactuar con triflusal, en este caso, puede resultar necesario cambiar la dosis o interrumpir el tratamiento.

Es importante que informe a su médico si toma alguno de los siguientes medicamentos: antiinflamatorios no esteroideos, antidiabéticos orales o anticoagulantes orales, ya que pueden intensificarse los efectos de estos medicamentos, incluyendo los de triflusal.

Tomando triflusal con las comidas, disminuye la posibilidad de la aparición de los efectos adversos digestivos.

Este medicamento puede producir reacciones alérgicas porque contiene eritrosina (E127). Puede provocar asma, especialmente en pacientes alérgicos al ácido acetilsalicílico.

3. Cómo TOMAR Triflusal Farmalider

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración de Triflusal Farmalider indicadas por su médico.

Recuerde tomar su medicamento.

Su médico le indicará la duración de su tratamiento con Triflusal Farmalider. No lo suspenda sin que su médico se lo indique.

La dosis recomendada es de dos cápsulas (600 mg de triflusal) al día, en una toma única o repartida en dos tomas, o de tres cápsulas (900 mg de triflusal) al día, repartida en tres tomas.

Forma de administración

Triflusal Farmalider se administra por vía oral.

Ingiera la cápsula con una cantidad suficiente de líquido y preferentemente con las comidas.

Si toma más Triflusal Farmalider del que debiera

Si ha tomado más triflusal del que debe, consulte inmediatamente a su médico o farmacéutico.

En caso de sobredosis o ingestión accidental, consulte al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono: 91 562 04 20.

Se recomienda llevar el envase y el prospecto del medicamento al profesional sanitario. Una dosis demasiado elevada de triflusal puede producir dolor de cabeza, zumbidos, náuseas, vómitos y respiración acelerada.

Si olvidó tomar Triflusal Farmalider

En caso de olvidar una dosis espere a la siguiente. No tome una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, triflusal puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

El efecto adverso más habitual es pesadez de estómago. También pueden aparecer dolor de cabeza, dolor abdominal, náuseas, estreñimiento, vómitos, flatulencia y anorexia. Estos síntomas suelen ser leves y desaparecer al cabo de pocos días incluso sin suspender el tratamiento. De forma no habitual, se ha observado hemorragia gastrointestinal, diarrea, sangre en orina, hematoma, hemorragia nasal, sangrado de las encías y hemorragia cerebral. Se ha notificado también algún caso aislado de reacción alérgica de la piel expuesta a la luz solar.

Si observa cualquiera de los efectos adversos mencionados de manera intensa o prolongada, interrumpa el tratamiento y consulte a su médico lo antes posible.

Si considera que alguno de los efectos adversos que sufre es grave o si aprecia cualquier efecto adverso no mencionado en este prospecto, informe a su médico o farmacéutico.

5. Conservación de Triflusal Farmalider

Mantener fuera del alcance y de la vista de los niños

No conservar a temperatura superior a 25ºC.

Conservar en el embalaje original.

No utilice Triflusal Farmalider después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de “CAD”. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

  • El principio activo es triflusal. Cada cápsula contiene 300 mg de triflusal.
  • Los demás componentes son: gelatina de la cápsula y colorantes de la misma: eritrosina (E127), óxidos de hierro (E172) y dióxido de titanio (E171).
