1. Qué es Anticude y para qué se utiliza

Anticude es un medicamento que se utiliza como antídoto de los curarizantes, incluyendo los sintéticos, en la apnea prolongada y en cualquier síndrome que comporte atonía de la musculatura de fibra estriada o lisa.

Se emplea asimismo para el diagnóstico y tratamiento de la miastenia grave y para facilitar el diagnóstico diferencial de las arritmias por intoxicación digitálica.

Si es alérgico (hipersensible) al Edrofonio bromuro o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de Anticude.

Este medicamento contiene Bisulfito de sodio (E-222) por lo que puede producir reacciones alérgicas graves y broncoespasmo (sensación repentina de ahogo) porque contiene 0,8mg por ampolla.

Este medicamento contiene menos de 23mg (1mmol) de sodio por ampolla, por lo que se considera esencialmente “exento de sodio”.

3. Cómo usar Anticude

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración de Anticude indicadas por su médico. Consulte a su médico o farmacéutico si tiene dudas.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, Anticude puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

No se conocen efectos adversos y, por otra parte, está exento de los efectos secundarios inherentes a la mayoría de los inhibidores de la colinesterasa, tales como hipotensión, salivación, etc., los cuales deben evitarse en el recién operado.

No se ha descrito ningún caso de intoxicación clínica por efectos del Edrofonio. No obstante, de producirse esta incidencia, deben administrarse fármacos de acción antagónica, es decir simpaticomiméticos o anticolinérgicos.

Si considera que alguno de los efectos adversos que sufre es grave o si aprecia cualquier efecto adverso no mencionado en este prospecto, informe a su médico o farmacéutico.

5. Conservación de Anticude

No requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.

Mantener fuera del alcance y de la vista de los niños.

No use Anticude después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

No utilice Anticude ampollas si observa indicios visibles de deterioro.

Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda, pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.
