Step-by-step guide for using the nasal pulverizer
Fluticasona Teva(fluticasona furoate) belongs to a group of medicines calledglucocorticoids.
Fluticasona Teva acts by reducing the inflammation caused by an allergy (rinitis), and therefore, reduces the symptoms of an allergy.
Fluticasona Teva nasal spray suspension is used for the treatment of symptoms of allergic rhinitis including nasal congestion, increased nasal discharge, and nasal itch, sneezing, and tearing and itch or redness of the eyes in adults and children 6 years of age or older.
Allergic symptoms can appear at certain times of the year as a result of allergy to plant or tree pollen (hay fever), or they can occur throughout the year as a result of allergy to animals, dust mites, or mold, among others.

Your doctor will evaluate whether you should use fluticasona furoate with these medications. Some medications may increase the effects of fluticasona furoate, so your doctor will perform thorough checks if you are taking these medications.
This medication should not be used at the same time with other nasal sprays containing steroids.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or think you may be pregnant, consult your doctor before using this medication.
Do not use this medication if you are pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant, unless your doctor or pharmacist tells you to.

Driving and operating machinery
It is unlikely that Fluticasona Teva will affect your ability to drive and operate machinery.
Fluticasona Teva contains benzalkonium chloride
This medication contains 8.25 micrograms of benzalkonium chloride in each spray (27.5 micrograms). Benzalkonium chloride may cause irritation or inflammation inside the nose, especially when used for a long treatment period. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you experience discomfort while using the sprayer.

When to use Fluticasona Teva
This medication will treat your symptoms throughout the day and night.
How long does Fluticasona Teva take to work
Some people may not feel the full effects until several days after starting to use this medication.
However, it is generally effective between 8 to 24 hours after use.

How to use the nasal spray
Fluticasona Teva has almost no taste or smell. It is sprayed into the nose as a fine mist. Be careful not to spray the medication into your eyes. If this happens, rinse your eyes with water.

If you use more Fluticasona Teva than you should
Consult your doctor or pharmacist.
In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, consult your doctor, pharmacist, or call the Toxicological Information Service, phone 91 562 04 20, indicating the medication and the amount ingested/used
If you forgot to use Fluticasona Teva
If you forgot to administer a dose, do it when you remember.
If it is almost time for the next dose, wait until then. Do not use a double dose to make up for the missed doses.
If you have any other questions about using this medication, or if you feel any discomfort when using the nasal spray, ask your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.
Like all medicines, this medicine may cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them.
Allergic reactions: seek immediate medical help
Allergic reactions to this medicine are rare and affect fewer than 1 in 1,000 people. In a small number of people, allergic reactions can become more severe, even life-threatening if not treated. Symptoms include:

The use of nasal corticosteroids may affect the normal production of hormones in your body, especially if high doses are used for prolonged periods of time. In children, these side effects may cause slower growth.

Keep this medication out of the sight and reach of children.
Always keep the cap in place.
Do not use this medication after the expiration date that appears on the packaging. The expiration date is the last day of the month indicated. Once opened, the shelf life of Fluticasona Teva nasal suspension is 2 months.
Do not refrigerate or freeze.
Medications should not be disposed of through drains or in the trash. Dispose of the packaging and medications you no longer need at the SIGRE collection point at the pharmacy. If in doubt, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the packaging and medications you no longer need. By doing so, you will help protect the environment.

After each use:
