1. Qué es Feraccru y para qué se utiliza

Feraccru contiene hierro (como maltol férrico). Feraccru se usa en adultos para tratar los depósitos de hierro bajos en su organismo. El hierro bajo provoca anemia (muy pocos glóbulos rojos).

2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a tomar Feraccru

No tome Feraccru:

  • Si es alérgico a maltol férrico o cualquiera de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6).
  • Si tiene cualquier enfermedad que provoque sobrecarga de hierro o una alteración en la forma en la que su organismo utiliza el hierro.
  • Si ha recibido múltiples transfusiones de sangre.

Advertencias y precauciones

3. Cómo tomar Feraccru

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración de este medicamento indicadas por su médico.

Adultos (18 años y mayores)

Tome Feraccru con el estómago vacío, con medio vaso de agua (una hora antes de una comida o al menos 2 horas después de una comida). La dosis recomendada es de una cápsula (30 mg) que se toma dos veces al día, por la mañana y por la tarde.

Si toma más Feraccru del que debe

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, este medicamento puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

5. Conservación de Feraccru

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No use este medicamento más de 45 días después de la primera apertura del frasco.
