Cefalexina is an antibiotic. It belongs to a group of antibiotics called cephalosporins.

It is essential to follow the instructions regarding dosage, administration interval, and treatment duration indicated by your doctor.

Do not store or reuse this medication. If you have any leftover antibiotic after finishing the treatment, return it to the pharmacy for proper disposal. Do not throw away medications down the drain or in the trash.

Cefalexina works by eliminating certain types of bacteria that can cause various types of infections in people. Like all antibiotics, cefalexina is only capable of eliminating certain types of bacteria, so it is only suitable for treating certain types of infections.

  • if you have ever developed a severe skin rash, scaling, blisters, and/or sores in the mouth after taking cefalexina or other antibacterials.

Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP) has been reported with the use of cefalexina.
