1. Qué es Blastoestimulina y para qué se utiliza

Blastoestimulina 20 mg/g polvo cutáneo es un medicamento para uso cutáneo con acción cicatrizante.

Este medicamento está indicado en cicatrización de heridas, fisuras, úlceras, llagas, escaras y otras erosiones (o grietas) de la piel.

También está indicado en la cicatrización de quemaduras leves y de heridas post-operatorias, especialmente se usa en casos en los que interesa una buena aireación y un secado rápido del proceso a tratar.

2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a usar Blastoestimulina

No use Blastoestimulina

  • si es alérgico al extracto de Centella asiática o a alguno de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6).
  • si presenta eccema (erupción) de la piel.
  • si las quemaduras o úlceras a tratar son graves o afectan a zonas extensas de la piel, excepto si su médico así se lo indica.
  • en los ojos.

Advertencias y precauciones

Consulte a su médico, farmacéutico o enfermero antes de empezar a usar Blastoestimulina.

No igerir. Uso cutáneo.

No debe emplear este medicamento durante periodos de tiempo prolongados ni sobre heridas infectadas. Si no observa mejora clínica después de 5 días de tratamiento, debe consultar al médico quién revisará la conveniencia del tratamiento.

Niños

Este medicamento no está recomendado en niños debido a la falta de datos de seguridad y eficacia en dicha población.

3. Cómo usar Blastoestimulina

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración del medicamento contenidas en este prospecto o las indicadas por su médico, farmacéutico o enfermero. En caso de duda, pregunte a su médico o farmacéutico.

Uso cutáneo. No ingerir.

La dosis recomenada en adultos es: administrar el polvo de 1 a 3 veces al día, aplicando una pequeña cantidad del mismo sobre la zona a tratar. Se recomienda antes de comenzar el tratamiento realizar una limpieza del área afectada.

Si usa más Blastoestimulina del que debe

Debido a su uso cutáneo, no es probable que se produzcan casos de intoxicación, salvo que se utilicen accidentalmente sobre amplias superficies de la piel y a dosis muy superiores a las recomendadas.

5. Conservación de Blastoestimulina

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

  • El principio activo de Blastoestimulina 20 mg/g polvo cutáneo es extracto de Centella asiática. Cada gramo de polvo contiene 20 mg de extracto seco purificado de las partes aéreas de Centella asiática.
  • Los demás componentes son: estearato de magnesio, sílice coloidal anhidra y talco.
