1. Qué es ALDOBRONQUIAL 2mg/5 ml jarabe y para qué se utiliza

ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe contiene como principio activo salbutamol. Pertenece a un grupo de medicamentos llamados broncodilatadores.

ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe está indicado en la prevención y tratamiento sintomático del espasmo bronquial (cierre de conductos de aire en los pulmones) asociado a las crisis asmáticas y en procesos asociados a obstrucción reversible de las vías respiratorias. Estas son un grupo de enfermedades pulmonares que causan inflamación de las vías respiratorias ocasionando un bloqueo en el flujo de aire en los pulmones.

2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a tomar ALDOBRONQUIAL 2mg/5 ml jarabe

No tome ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe

  • si es alérgico al salbutamol o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6).

Advertencias y precauciones

Consulte a su médico, farmacéutico o enfermero antes de empezar a tomar ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe:

  • Si tiene una enfermedad del tiroides (hipertiroidismo)
  • Si tiene historial de enfermedad cardiaca, ritmo cardíaco irregular o angina de pecho
  • Si padece tensión arterial alta (hipertensión)
  • Si padece asma agudo. Este medicamento puede producir una bajada en los niveles de potasio, que podría verse aumentada por la hipoxia (poco oxígeno)
  • La bajada en los niveles de potasio que puede producir este medicamento podría verse aumentada por otros fármacos utilizados para tratar el asma
  • Si es diabético. Este medicamento puede aumentar los niveles de glucosa en sangre

Niños y adolescentes

No se ha demostrado adecuadamente la eficacia y seguridad en niños menores de 2 años.

Uso en deportistas

Este medicamento contiene salbutamol, que puede producir un resultado positivo en las pruebas de control del dopaje.

Toma de ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe con otros medicamentos

Informe a su médico o farmacéutico si está tomando, ha tomado recientemente o podría tener que tomar cualquier otro medicamento.

No administrar conjuntamente con ß-bloqueadores no cardioselectivos, tales como el propranolol o similares. Los ß-bloqueadores no cardioselectivos se utilizan para tratar la presión arterial alta (hipertensión), el ritmo cardíaco anormal (arritmia), el dolor en el pecho (angina de pecho), en la prevención de la migraña y tópicamente para tratar el glaucoma. Los ß-bloqueadores a veces se administran a pacientes que han sufrido un ataque cardíaco para prevenir otros ataques.

Embarazo, lactancia y fertilidad

Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar este medicamento.

Sólo debe ser utilizado durante el embarazo o lactancia si el potencial beneficio sobrepasa claramente el riesgo potencial.

Conducción y uso de máquinas

La influencia de ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe sobre la capacidad para conducir y utilizar máquinas es nula o insignificante.

3. Cómo tomar ALDOBRONQUIAL 2mg/5 ml jarabe

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración de este medicamento indicadas por su médico. En caso de duda, consulte de nuevo a su médico o farmacéutico.

Recuerde tomar su medicamento.

Su médico le indicará la duración de su tratamiento con ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe. No suspenda el tratamiento antes.

Si su médico ha diluido su ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe, la mezcla resultante debe ser protegida de la luz y debe ser utilizada dentro de los 28 días siguientes.

Adultos

La dosis recomendada es de 5 ml a 10 ml (2 a 4 mg) administrados tres o cuatro veces al día.

Uso en niños y adolescentes

Dos a seis años: la dosis recomendada es de 2,5 ml a 5 ml (1 a 2 mg) tres o cuatro

veces al día.

Seis a doce años: la dosis recomendada es de 5 ml (2 mg) tres o cuatro veces al

día.

Mayores de doce años: la dosis recomendada es de 5 ml a 10 ml (2 a 4 mg)

administrados tres o cuatro veces al día.

Su médico puede haberle prescrito una dosis mayor que la recomendada anteriormente.

ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe es adecuado para adultos y niños que prefieran tomar medicamentos líquidos.

Para los niños, personas de edad avanzada y los que posean una marcada sensibilidad a este medicamento, se recomienda iniciar el tratamiento con 5 ml de ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe (2 mg) tres o cuatro veces al día.

ES MUY IMPORTANTE que siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración del medicamento contenidas en este prospecto o las indicadas por su médico en cuanto a la cantidad que debe tomar y cada cuánto tiempo. NO TOME más de lo que le hayan indicado. En caso de dudas, pregunte a su médico.

Si estima que la acción de ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe es demasiado fuerte o débil, comuníqueselo a su médico o farmacéutico TAN PRONTO COMO SEA POSIBLE. Su asma puede empezar a empeorar y usted necesitar otro tipo de medicamentos.

Si toma más ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe del que debiera

En caso de sobredosis o ingestión accidental, consulte inmediatamente a su médico o farmacéutico o llame al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono 91 562 04 20, indicando el medicamento y la cantidad ingerida.

No obstante, si la cantidad ingerida es importante, debe acudir al médico inmediatamente o al servicio de urgencias del hospital más próximo. Se recomendará llevar el envase y el prospecto del medicamento al profesional sanitario.

Si accidentalmente toma una dosis mayor de la recomendada, tiene más probabilidad de sufrir efectos adversos como aceleración del ritmo cardiaco, dolores de cabeza, temblores o calambres musculares (ver Posibles efectos adversos). Debe avisar a su médico tan pronto como sea posible si la dosis que usted ha tomado es superior a la recomendada.

Si olvidó tomar ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe

No tome una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas. Si se le olvida tomar una dosis tome otra tan pronto lo recuerde, pero si está próximo el momento de tomar la siguiente dosis, espere a cuando le toque.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

A continuación se indican los efectos adversos asociados a salbutamol clasificados por órgano, sistema y frecuencia. Las frecuencias se han definido de la siguiente forma: muy frecuentes (afectan a 1 o más de cada 10 personas), frecuentes (afectan de 1 a 10 de cada 100 personas), poco frecuentes afectan de 1 a 10 de cada 1000 personas), raras (afectan de 1 a 10 de cada 10000 personas) y muy raras (afectan a menos de 1 de cada 10000 personas) incluyendo informes aislados. Las reacciones muy frecuentes, frecuentes y poco frecuentes se han identificado a partir de los datos de ensayos clínicos. Los acontecimientos raros y muy raros proceden de datos notificados espontáneamente.

Trastornos del sistema inmunológico

Trastornos del sistema nervioso

Muy Frecuentes: Temblor

Frecuentes: Cefaleas (dolores de cabeza).

Muy raros: Hiperactividad.

Trastornos cardíacos

Frecuentes: Taquicardia (aumento de la frecuencia cardiaca), palpitaciones.

Raros: Arritmias cardíacas, incluyendo fibrilación auricular, taquicardia supraventricular y extrasístoles (trastornos del ritmo del corazón).

Desconocido: Isquemia miocárdica* (ver sección 2).

Aunque no se conoce exactamente con qué frecuencia ocurre, algunas personas pueden experimentar ocasionalmente dolor en el pecho (debido a problemas de corazón como angina de pecho). Avise a su médico si desarrolla estos síntomas mientras está siendo tratado con ALDOBRONQUIAL jarabe, pero no deje de tomar este medicamento a menos que así lo indique su médico.

5. Conservación de ALDOBRONQUIAL 2mg/5 ml jarabe

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.

Caducidad

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el frasco después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda, pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que ya no necesita. De esta forma ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

6. INFORMACIÓN ADICIONAL

Composición de ALDOBRONQUIAL 2mg/5 ml jarabe

  • El principio activo es salbutamol (sulfato). Cada 5 ml contienen 2 mg de salbutamol (sulfato).
  • Los demás componentes (excipientes) son: benzoato de sodio (E-211), hipromelosa, sacarina sódica, ácido cítrico, citrato sódico, aroma de naranja y agua purificada.
