1. Qué es Posiforlid 20 mg/g y para qué se utiliza

Posiforlid 20 mg/g es una pomada oftálmica desinfectante, astringente e inhibidora de la secreción.

Este medicamento se utiliza para la inflamación crónica (prolongada) del borde del párpado que no es causada por bacterias.

Debe consultar a un médico si empeora o si no mejora después de siete días.

Conducción y uso de máquinas

Tras la aplicación de Posiforlid 20 mg/g, la pomada oftálmica formará una película grasa en la superficie ocular que afectará a la visión de forma transitoria. Por tanto, su capacidad para conducir y utilizar máquinas se verá afectada. No conduzca ni utilice máquinas hasta que su visión sea clara.

Posiforlid 20 mg/g contiene lanolina

Este medicamento puede producir reacciones locales en la piel (como dermatitis de contacto) porque contiene lanolina.

3. Cómo usar Posiforlid 20 mg/g

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración de este medicamento indicadas por su médico. En caso de duda, consulte de nuevo a su médico.

La dosis recomendada en adultos es una porción de aproximadamente 0,5 cm en el saco conjuntival del ojo afectado de 3 a 5 veces al día.

Uso en niños y adolescentes

La dosis recomendada en niños a partir de 6 años es aplicar una porción de aproximadamente 0,5 cm en el saco conjuntival del ojo afectado 3 veces al día durante un máximo de 10 días.

Instrucciones de uso:

  • Lávese las manos
  • Desenrosque el tapón
  • Evite tocar el ojo o la piel con la punta del tubo.
  • Quite el tapón.
  • Incline la cabeza ligeramente hacia atrás, tire suavemente del párpado inferior del ojo y aplique una pequeña porción de pomada oftálmica en el saco conjuntival presionando suavemente el tubo.
  • Cierre los ojos lentamente.
  • Cierre el tubo después de su uso.

La pomada oftálmica se puede aplicar fácilmente presionando suavemente el tubo sin doblarlo ni enrollarlo.

Aplique la pomada oftálmica a intervalos regulares durante el día.

Este medicamento se puede utilizar hasta que desaparezcan los síntomas.

Si las molestias persisten o los síntomas empeoran después de 7 días, consulte a su médico.

En caso de irritación ocular crónica, siempre se debe consultar a un oftalmólogo. Debe evitar el uso crónico sin control.

Consulte con su médico si cree que el efecto de este medicamento es demasiado fuerte o demasiado suave.

No son necesarias medidas específicas. Una sobredosis a corto plazo de este medicamento no causa efectos adversos conocidos.

Si olvidó usarPosiforlid 20 mg/g

No use una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas. Aplíquese la siguiente dosis lo antes posible y luego continúe con la misma dosis y los mismos intervalos descritos anteriormente o que le prescribió su médico.

5. Conservación de Posiforlid 20 mg/g

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de “CAD”. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

No conservar a temperatura superior a 30°C.

Una vez abierto: No utilizar más de 4 semanas después de la primera apertura.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

Composición de Posiforlid 20 mg/g

El prinicpio activo es bibrocatol 20 mg/g.

Los demás componentes son vaselina blanca, parafina líquida y lanolina.

Posiforlid 20 mg/g es una pomada color ocre envasada en tubos de aluminio con tapón de rosca.

Cada caja contiene un tubo con 5 g de pomada oftálmica.
