Toma de VALERIANA ARKOPHARMA con otros medicamentos

Informe a su farmacéutico o médico si está tomando, ha tomado recientemente o pudiera tener que tomar cualquier otro medicamento.Debido a la acción sedante de la especialidad, se puede potenciar el efecto sedante de otros fármacos como barbitúricos, benzodiazepinas, antihistamínicos H1, por lo que no se recomienda tomarlos conjuntamente.

Conducción y uso de máquinas

Este medicamento puede producir sueño. No conduzca ni utilice máquinas si siente somnolencia o si nota que su atención y capacidad de reacción se encuentran reducidas.

3. Cómo tomar VALERIANA ARKOPHARMA

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración del medicamento contenidas en este prospecto o las indicadas por su farmacéutico o médico. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico o médico.

La dosis recomendada es:

Adultos y adolescentes mayores de 12 años:

En caso de estrés mental: 2 cápsulas por la mañana y 2 cápsulas por la noche. Adicionalmente, si fuera necesario, se pueden tomar otras dos cápsulas a mediodía.

En caso de dificultad para dormir: 2 cápsulas a media tarde y 2 cápsulas una hora antes de ir a dormir. Adicionalmente, si fuera necesario, se pueden tomar otras dos cápsulas por la mañana.

Este medicamento se utiliza vía oral.

El tratamiento recomendado es de 4 semanas, no obstante, si usted observa que en un plazo de 15 días sus síntomas no mejoran o empeoran, debería consultar con su farmacéutico o médico.

Uso en niños:

No utilizar en menores de 12 años, sin consultar al médico.

Si toma más VALERIANA ARKOPHARMA del que debe

No se han descrito casos de sobredosificación con VALERIANA ARKOPHARMA.

En caso de sobredosis o ingestión accidental, consulte inmediatamente a su farmacéutico o médico o llame al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono 91 562 04 20, indicando el producto y la cantidad ingerida.

Si olvidó tomar VALERIANA ARKOPHARMA

En caso de olvido de una dosis, tome el medicamento lo antes posible continuando el tratamiento de la forma prescrita. Sin embargo, si está próxima la siguiente dosis, es mejor que no tome la dosis olvidada y espere a la siguiente. No tome una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas.

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, este medicamento puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

Después de la ingestión de preparados de raíz de valeriana muy raramente podrían aparecer molestias gastrointestinales leves (nauseas y retortijones abdominales). La valeriana tiene un olor característico y desagradable, esto no significa que se encuentre en mal estado.

5. Conservación de VALERIANA ARKOPHARMA:

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No conservar a temperatura superior a 25ºC.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de “CAD”. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesite en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.
