1. Qué es Sinupret extract y para qué se utiliza

Sinupret extract es un medicamento a base de plantas para el tratamiento de la congestión nasal, que favorece la secreción.

La congestión a menudo se presenta con cefaleas y dolor en la cara, que se suelen intensificar al inclinarse hacia adelante o apretando con el pulgar la zona afectada de la cara. También suele ir acompañada de una sensación de presión en la cara, especialmente alrededor de la nariz.

2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a tomar Sinupret extract

No tome Sinupret extract:
  • si es alérgico al principio activo o a alguno de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6).
  • si padece úlcera péptica.

Advertencias y precauciones

Consulte a su médico si los síntomas persisten durante más de 7-14 días, si empeoran o si reaparecen cada cierto tiempo, o si tiene fiebre, sangra por la nariz, dolor agudo, secreciones nasales purulentas, problemas de visión, deformidad en mitad de la cara u ojos, o bien entumecimiento facial.

Se recomienda especial cuidado al tomar este medicamento a aquellos pacientes que sufran gastritis o tengan estómago delicado. Se recomienda tomar Sinupret extract después de las comidas con un vaso de agua.

Niños y adolescentes

3. Cómo tomar Sinupret extract

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración de este medicamento indicadas por su médico o farmacéutico. En caso de duda, consulte de nuevo a su médico o farmacéutico.

La dosis recomendada es:

Adultos: 1 comprimido recubierto, 3 veces al días (un máximo de 3 comprimidos recubiertos al día).

No se dispone de datos suficientes para realizar recomendaciones de dosis en pacientes con alteración de la función renal/hepática.

Forma de administración

Tome Sinupret extract entero (sin masticar) con algo de líquido (p. ej.: un vaso de agua), 3 veces al día (mañana, tarde y noche). Si tiene un estómago sensible, recomendamos que tome Sinupret extract después de las comidas.

Duración del tratamiento

A menos que se indique de otro modo, la duración del tratamiento es de 7 a 14 días. Debe consultar a un médico si no mejora durante el tratamiento o si los síntomas persisten tras su finalización.

Si toma más Sinupret extract del que debe

5. Conservación de Sinupret extract

No almacenar a temperaturas superiores a 30ºC.

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en la caja y el envase (blíster) después de EXP. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los

medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia.

6. Contenido del envase e información adicional

Composición de Sinupret extract
  • El principio activo es el extracto seco natural (3-6:1) obtenido de la mezcla (1:3:3:3:3) de raíz de genciana (Gentiana lutea L.), flores de prímula (Primula veris L.), acedera (Rumex crispus L.), flor de sauco (Sambucus nigra L.) y verbena (Verbena officinalis L.).

Primer solvente de extracción: etanol al 51% (m/m).

Cada comprimido contiene 160,00 mg de extracto seco.

  • Los demás componentes son sacarosa, talco, carbonato cálcico (E170), celulosa microcristalina, maltodextrina, celulosa en polvo, hipromelosa, dextrina, acacia deshidratada en espray, sílice coloidal hidrofóbico, sílice coloidal anhidra, dióxido de titanio (E171), glucosa, líquido, estearato de magnesio [vegetal], ácido esteárico, clorofila en polvo 25% (contiene complejos cúpricos de clorifilinas, E141), laca de aluminio índigo carmín (contiene índigo carmín E132 e hidróxido de aluminio), cera carnauba y riboflavina (E101).
