Sedisleep es un medicamento a base de plantas indicado para adultos y adolescentes mayores de 12 años para el alivio de la tensión nerviosa leve y los trastornos del sueño.

No tome Sedisleep:

Niños

No se recomienda el uso de este medicamento en niños menores de 12 años debido a la falta de datos.

Conducción y uso de máquinas

Sedisleep es un medicamento que puede producir sueño. No conduzca ni utilice máquinas si siente somnolencia o si nota que su atención y capacidad de reacción se encuentran reducidas.

3. Cómo tomar Sedisleep

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración del medicamento contenidas en este prospecto o las indicadas por su médico o farmacéutico. En caso de duda, pregunte a su médico o farmacéutico.

La dosis recomendada para adultos, personas mayores y adolescentes a partir de 12 años es:

Para el alivio de la tensión nerviosa leve, 1 comprimido hasta 3 veces al día.

Para el alivio de los trastornos del sueño, 1 comprimido de media a una hora antes de acostarse, si fuera necesario se puede tomar una dosis antes durante la tarde.

No tome más de 4 comprimidos al día.

Uso en niños

No se recomienda el uso de este medicamento en niños menores de 12 años.

Los comprimidos deben tragarse enteros con un poco de agua. No deben ser masticados.

Se recomienda un uso continuo de 2 a 4 semanas para alcanzar un efecto óptimo del tratamiento.

Si los síntomas persisten o empeoran tras 2 semanas de uso continuado, consulte con un médico.

Si toma más Sedisleep del que debe

Si ha ingerido demasiado Sedisleep contacte inmediatamente con su médico o farmacéutico.

Una ingesta excesiva de este medicamento puede causar síntomas como fatiga, calambres abdominales, opresión en el pecho, sensación de mareo, temblor en las manos y dilatación pupilar. Si aparecen esos síntomas, consulte con su médico.

Si olvidó tomarSedisleep

No tome una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas.

Si interrumpe el tratamiento conSedisleep

El abandono de la ingesta de este medicamento no debería provocar efectos adversos. Sin embargo, los síntomas que lo llevaron a tomar este medicamento podrían reaparecer.

5. Conservación de Sedisleep

Mantenga este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en la caja después de la abreviatura CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Conservar en el embalaje original para protegerlo de la humedad.

Este medicamento no requiere condiciones especiales de temperatura para su conservación.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que ya no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

6. Contenido del envase e información adicional

Composición de Sedisleep

El principio activo es el extracto seco de raíz de valeriana. Cada comprimido recubierto con película contiene 500 mg de extracto seco de Valeriana officinalisL., radix (equivalente a 2 g - 3 g de raíz de valeriana).

Solvente de extracción: etanol 60 % (V/V).

Los demás componentes son:

Núcleo del comprimido:celulosa microcristalina, hidrogenofosfato de calcio anhidro, almidón pregelatinizado, silice coloidal anhidra, estearato de magnesio.

Cubierta pelicular:Hipromelosa, ácido esteárico, celulosa microcristalina, óxido de hierro negro.

Aspecto del producto y contenido del envase

Comprimidos recubiertos con película grises, oblongos, biconvexos, de 18 x 7 mm.

Blísters de PVC/PE/PVDC/aluminio en envases de 28 o 56 comprimidos. Puede que solamente estén comercializados algunos tamaños de envases.
