Está indicado en el tratamiento del resfriado común.

EchinaMed pertenece a un grupo de medicamentos denominados

Inmunoestimulantes de origen vegetal. Actúa estimulando las defensas del

organismo.

2. Antes de tomar EchinaMed

No tome EchinaMedsi usted:

?Es alérgico a las plantas de la familia de las Asteraceae (Compuestas) o a alguno

de los componentes del producto.

?Tiene tuberculosis.

?Tiene tendencia a tener alergias con síntomas de urticaria, eczema o asma.

?Padece una enfermedad autoinmune.

?Sufre condiciones que reducen su resistencia a una infección (ejemplo SIDA)

?Está sometido a un tratamiento con inmunosupresores ( ej. tratamiento para

evitar el rechazo de un órgano después de un transplante)

?Está recibiendo un tratamiento que reduce su respuesta a infecciones (ej.

quimioterapia o radioterapia para el tratamiento del cáncer)

?Sufre enfermedades que se caracterizan por un bajo recuento de glóbulos

blancos tales como agranulocitosis.

No se debe administrar a niños menores de 1 año.

No se recomienda su administración a niños menores de 12 años ya que su eficacia

Este medicamento contiene sacarosa. Los pacientes con intolerancia hereditaria conocida a la fructosa, malabsorción de glucosa o galactosa, o deficiencia de sacarasa-isomaltasa no deben tomar este medicamento.

Este medicamento contiene sorbitol. Los pacientes con problemas hereditarios de intolerancia a la fructosa, no deben tomareste medicamento.

Embarazo y Lactancia

No se han realizado estudios durante el embarazo o el periodo de lactancia con este

medicamento, por lo que no se recomienda su administración, salvo mejor criterio

médico.

tomar este medicamento. El consumo de medicamentos durante el embarazo puede

Toma de otros medicamentos:

No existe evidencia de que los extractos de Echinacea purpureainteraccionen con

otros medicamentos, sin embargo, debido a su actividad, no se recomienda tomar

este medicamento junto a inmunosupresores tales como ciclosporina y metotrexato

Informe a su médico o farmacéutico si está tomando o ha tomado recientemente

cualquier otro medicamento, incluso los adquiridos sin receta médica.

3. Cómo tomar EchinaMed

Siga estas instrucciones a menos que su médico le haya dado otras indicaciones distintas. Recuerde tomar su medicamento.

EchinaMed es un medicamento que se administra por vía oral.

La dosis diaria recomendada para adultos, ancianos y niños mayores de 12

años es de 1 comprimido 3 veces al día.

Los comprimidos se deben tomar con agua antes de las principales comidas o también se pueden disolver en la boca.

Comenzar el tratamiento al primer síntoma del resfriado. No tomar este medicamento durante más de 10 días.

Si estima que la acción de este medicamento es demasiado fuerte o débil, comuníqueselo a su médico o farmacéutico.

Si usted toma más EchinaMed de lo que debiera:

En caso de sobredosis o ingestión accidental, acuda a un centro médico o consulte al

No tome EchinaMed si usted es alérgico a las plantas de la familia de las

Como todos los medicamentos EchinaMedpuede tener efectos adversos. Interrumpa el tratamiento y consulte a su médico si se produce alguno de los siguientes efectos:

Reacciones alérgicas tales como:

? erupción

? urticaria

? trastornos inflamatorios de la piel (Síndrome de Stevens-Johnson)

? hinchazón de la piel debido a líquido

? hinchazón de la cara (edema de Quincke)

? reducción del paso del aire a los pulmones (broncoespasmo)

? asma y reacciones alérgicas graves (shock anafiláctico)

Este medicamento puede desencadenar reacciones alérgicas en pacientes que tienen tendencia a tener alergias.

Se ha notificado la relación con enfermedades autoinmunes tales como:

5. Conservación de EchinaMed

Este medicamento no requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.
