1. What is Dolantina and what is it used for
Dolantina belongs to a group of medicines called opioid analgesics, used to relieve severe pain.
Dolantina can be used in:
- Treatment of severe pain, including pain caused by operations or fractures, pain caused by nerve damage (neuralgia) or muscle spasms (smooth muscle spasms in the bile ducts, genital or urinary tract, etc.), angina pectoris or tabetic crises.
- Treatment of pain during childbirth, in case of uterine rigidity and spasms, painful contractions and pain during fetal expulsion.
- As pre-anesthetic medication.
2. What you need to know before you take Dolantina
Do not take Dolantina
- If you are allergic or have ever had an allergic reaction to pethidine.
- If you have severe respiratory problems.
- If you are being treated or have been treated in the last two weeks with certain antidepressant medications (monoamine oxidase inhibitors, MAOIs) such as iproniazid, nialamide, phenelzine, moclobemide, toloxatone or selegiline.

Be careful with Dolantina

There is a risk of interaction with the following medications:

5. Storage of Dolantina
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
