1. Qué es Artific y para qué se utiliza

Artific es un medicamento que pertenece al grupo de lágrimas artificiales.

Artific está indicado para el alivio sintomático de la irritación y la sequedad ocular.

Artific contiene hidrógeno fosfato de sodio dodecahidrato y dihidrógeno fosfato de sodio dihidrato

Este medicamento contiene 0,068 mg de fosfatos en cada gota, lo que equivale a 1,84 mg/ml.

Si sufre de daño grave en la capa transparente de la parte frontal del ojo (córnea) el tratamiento con fosfatos, en casos muy raros, puede provocar visión borrosa por acumulación de calcio.

3. Cómo usar Artific

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración de este medicamento indicadas por su médico o farmacéutico. En caso de duda pregunte a su médico o farmacéutico.

Artific sólo debe utilizarse por vía oftálmica, como gotas para los ojos.

La dosis recomendada es de una gota en el ojo de 3 a 5 veces al día o, si fuera necesario, más frecuentemente. El tratamiento del síndrome del ojo seco requiere un régimen individualizado de dosificación.

Este medicamento no contiene conservantes, por consiguiente, los portadores de lentes de contacto blandasno necesitan extraérselas antes de la administración de este medicamento.

  1. Separar un envase unidosis de la tablilla.
  2. Girar el tapón y abrir el envase
  3. Instilar el colirio en el ojo colocando el envase perpendicularmente a éste.

No debe guardarse tras su apertura. Desechar el contenido restante del envase unidosis después de cada aplicación.

Si ha utilizado más Artific de lo que debe, consulte inmediatamente a su médico o farmacéutico.

No se conocen efectos adversos por sobredosificación ocular y no se prevén efectos de sobredosis con la vía de administración oftálmica.

En caso de sobredosis o ingestión accidental acudir inmediatamente a un centro médico o llamar al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono 91 562 04 20, indicando el medicamento y la cantidad ingerida.

No use una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas.

5. Conservación de Artific

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Desechar después de su uso. No reutilizar.

No conservar a temperatura superior a 25 °C.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

  • El principio activo es hipromelosa (methocel F4M). 1 ml de solución contiene 3,20 mg de hipromelosa.
