Asthma
Asthma is a common condition that affects breathing. With appropriate treatment, symptoms can usually be well controlled.

Type 1 diabetes is a condition where your body cannot make a hormone called insulin. This causes the level of glucose (sugar) in your blood to get too high.
Type 2 diabetes is when a hormone called insulin does not work properly or there is not enough of it. This causes the level of glucose (sugar) in your blood to become too high. It affects adults and sometimes children.
Typhoid fever is an infection spread through unclean food or water. It can cause serious problems if not treated. You should have a typhoid vaccination if you're travelling to an area where there's a risk of getting it.
Typhus is an infection spread by lice, fleas or mites. It's very rare in the UK. It can be serious, but most people make a full recovery if treated quickly.
