Brainal is used for the prevention of neurological injuries produced by a lack of blood flow, as a consequence of the constriction of cerebral arteries after a subarachnoid hemorrhage (a type of cerebral bleeding produced by the rupture of an aneurysm, which is an abnormal enlargement or bulging of a portion of an artery in which the wall is weakened).
