1. Qué es Lipolasic y para qué se utiliza

Lipolasic es un gel altamente viscoso blanquecino que contiene un lubricante que se utiliza como un sustituto de las lágrimas naturales. Sus ojos normalmente producen las suficientes lágrimas naturales para poderse mover con facilidad y comodidad. Si sus ojos no producen suficientes lágrimas pueden llegar a secarse, a enrojecerse y a doler. Lipolasic le ayudará a mantener sus ojos sin molestias.

Lipolasic es un gel altamente viscoso que forma una capa protectora sobre el ojo y mantiene su superficie húmeda.

3. Cómo usar Lipolasic

La dosis recomendada es ponerse una gota en el ángulo del ojo más cercano a la nariz, 3-5 veces al día, y aproximadamente 30 minutos antes de acostarse.

Siga estas instrucciones con atención:

  3. Mire hacia arriba y suavemente tire hacia abajo el párpado inferior.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, este medicamento puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran. Sus ojos le pueden doler un poco cuando se ponga el gel y su visión puede volverse borrosa. Estos efectos desaparecerán en pocos minutos.

Se han recibido algunos informes de alergias (hipersensibilidad) después de la administración de Lipolasic, debido a uno de los excipientes de la composición (podría afectar a 1 de cada 10.000 personas).

5. Conservación de Lipolasic

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

No conservar a temperatura superior a 25ºC (temperatura ambiente)

Lipolasic es estéril hasta que se abre el tubo por primera vez. Es importante mantener el tubo tan limpio como sea posible durante su uso.

El tubo tiene una tapa plana, lo que le permite estar en una posición vertical.

Deseche el contenido restante 28 días después de la apertura del tubo. Puede ser útil escribir en el tubo la fecha en la que se abrió por primera vez.

Recuerde que este medicamento es para usted. No se lo dé a otra persona.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

6. Información adicional

Composición de Lipolasic

El principio activo es carbómero. Cada tubo contiene 2,0 mg de carbómero por g de gel.

Los demás componentes son cetrimida, sorbitol, triglicéridos de cadena media, hidróxido sódico (para ajuste de pH) y agua para preparaciones inyectables.

Lipolasic gel oftálmico contiene el conservante cetrimida.

Aspecto del producto y contenido del envase

Lipolasic gel oftálmico es un gel blanquecino altamente viscoso.

Tamaños de envase:

Tubos de 5g de gel. Cajas conteniendo 1 ó 3 tubos de 5g de gel oftálmico.

Lipolasic se utiliza para el tratamiento sintomático del “ojo seco”, que es una deshidratación de la superficie del ojo como resultado de alteraciones en la secreción lagrimal o de la calidad de las lágrimas. La enfermedad del ojo seco también puede ocasionarse cuando no pueden cerrarse parcial o totalmente los párpados.

Esta enfermedad es tan común que uno de cada cinco pacientes que acuden a ver a un oftalmólogo la padecen. Hay muchas factores que pueden causarla, como la reducción de la producción lagrimal en la vejez, el aire acondicionado, el trabajo con ordenadores, los cambios hormonales durante la menopausia, etc. Los efectos ambientales y climáticos también pueden jugar un papel en el desarrollo de la sequedad ocular.

¿Qué entendemos por “ojo seco”?

Durante el día, parpadeamos un promedio de 14.000 veces. Con cada movimiento palpebral, una película de lágrimas muy fina se distribuye sobre la superficie del globo ocular, manteniéndolo suave, limpio y húmedo, y protegiendo al ojo de los contaminantes. Cuando el volumen o la composición de la película lagrimal se altera, se producen los fenómenos de desecación (secado) de la córnea y la conjuntiva, y los síntomas que experimenta el paciente son ardor, sensación de ojo seco, sensación de cuerpo extraño o de presión y sensibilidad a la luz.

Lipolasic es un gel calmante que humedece los ojos y proporciona una lubricación a los ojos y párpados parecida a la de las lágrimas. El carbómero de Lipolasic gel aumenta el espesor del gel, lo que hace que permanezca en contacto con el ojo durante un período de tiempo más largo.

Su oftalmólogo le ha recetado un sustituto de la lágrima para el alivio de sus molestias oculares. Además de usarlo de una forma constante, debe seguir las siguientes recomendaciones:

  • Ventile su apartamento o casa varias veces al día.
  • Tenga la precaución de beber lo suficiente.
