1. Qué es SYRON 40 mg y para qué se utiliza

SYRON 40 mg pertenece a un grupo de medicamentos denominados preparados orales de hierro trivalente.

SYRON 40 mg normaliza los parámetros hematológicos alterados en los estados deficitarios de hierro.

SYRON 40 mg se utiliza para profilaxis de la anemia ferropénica y de los estados carenciales de hierro.

2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a tomar SYRON 40 mg

No tome SYRON 40 mg

  • Si es alérgico (hipersensible) a Ferrimanitol Ovoalbúmina o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de SYRON 40 mg (incluidos en la sección 6).
  • Si es alérgico a las proteínas del huevo
  • Si padece hemosiderosis y hemocromatosis (enfermedades por depósito de hierro).
  • Si tiene anemias no relacionadas con déficit de hierro, tales como anemia aplásica, hemolítica y sideroblástica.
  • Si padece inflamación crónica del páncreas y cirrosis del hígado.

SYRON 40 mg no se debe administrar conjuntamente con:

3. Cómo TOMAR SYRON 40 mg

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración de SYRON 40 mg indicadas por su médico. En caso de duda, consulte de nuevo a su médico o farmacéutico.

Su médico le indicará la duración del tratamiento con SYRON 40 mg. No suspenda el tratamiento antes, ya que existe riesgo de recaída de la enfermedad.

La dosis recomendada es de 1 ó 2 comprimidos diarios después de la comida principal. Disuelva el comprimido en 100 ml ó 200 ml de agua y agite hasta conseguir una disolución uniforme. La solución debe ingerirse inmediatamente.

Si estima que la acción de SYRON 40 mg es demasiado fuerte o débil, comuníqueselo a su médico o farmacéutico.

Si toma más SYRON 40 mg de lo que debe

Si ha tomado más SYRON 40 mg del recomendado, consulte inmediatamente a su médico o farmacéutico, o llame al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono 91 562 04 20.

Si olvidó tomar SYRON 40 mg

En caso de que haya olvidado una dosis, tome otra tan pronto como sea posible y continúe con el horario habitual. No tome una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas. Podrían observarse síntomas de irritación gastrointestinal con náuseas y vómitos.

Si interrumpe el tratamiento con SYRON 40 mg

Su médico le indicará la duración del tratamiento con SYRON 40 mg. No suspenda el tratamiento antes, aunque se encuentre mejor.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, SYRON 40 mg puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

5. Conservación de SYRON 40 mg

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No se precisan condiciones especiales de conservación. Conserve SYRON 40 mg en su envase original.

No utilice SYRON 40 mg después de la fecha de caducidad indicada en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

Composición de SYRON 40 mg

El principio activo es ferrimanitol ovoalbúmina. Cada comprimido contiene 300 mg (aprox.) de ferrimanitol ovoalbúmina (equivalente a 40 mg de Fe3+).

  • Los demás componentes son: manitol, croscarmelosa sódica, polivinil prirrolidona, estearil fumarato sódico, estearato de magnesio, hidroxipropil celulosa, esencia de café, glicina, sacarina sódica y pearlitol 200 SD.
