1. Qué es YTTRIGA y para qué se utiliza

Yttriga es un medicamento radioactivo utilizado en combinación con otro medicamento que se dirige a células del organismo específicas.

2. ANTES DE USAR YTTRIGA

No use Yttriga:

  • si es alérgico (hipersensible) al cloruro de (90Y) itrio o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de Yttriga.
  • si está embarazada o si existe la posibilidad de que pudiera estar embarazada (ver más adelante).

Tenga especial cuidado con Yttriga:

Yttriga es un medicamento radioactivo y solamente se utiliza en combinación con otro medicamento.

Su uso previsto no es la utilización directa en pacientes.

Debido a la existencia de leyes estrictas acerca del uso, manipulación y eliminación de los

radiofármacos, este producto debe ser utilizado exclusivamente en un hospital o en una instalación similar. Debe ser manipulado y administrado exclusivamente por personas cualificadas y formadas para el tratamiento seguro de material radiactivo.

Debe tenerse un cuidado especial cuando se administren medicamentos radioactivos a niños y

adolescentes (de 2 a 16 años de edad).

Uso de otros medicamentos

Informe a su médico o farmacéutico si está utilizando o ha utilizado recientemente otros

medicamentos, incluso los adquiridos sin receta.

Se desconoce la interacción del cloruro de (90Y) itrio con otros medicamentos., puesto que no se

Embarazo

5. Conservación de YTTRIGA

6. INFORMACIÓN ADICIONAL

Qué contiene Yttriga?

  • La sustancia activa es cloruro de (90Y) itrio.
  • 1 ml de solución estéril contiene 0,1-300 GBq de (90Y) itrio en la fecha y hora de referencia (equivalente a 0,005-15 microgramos de (90Y) itrio) (como cloruro de (90Y) itrio).
  • Los demás componentes son ácido clorhídrico (0,04 M).

Vial de vidrio incoloro tipo I de 3 ml con fondo en forma de V o un vial incoloro de vidrio tipo I con fondo plano de 10 ml con un tapón de silicona, cerrado con un sello de aluminio.
