1. What is Valenat and what is it used for

Valenat belongs to a group of medications used as sedatives for the nervous system.

It is a traditional herbal medication for adults, adolescents, and children over 12 years old, for the relief of mild symptoms of mental stress and to help with sleep, based exclusively on traditional use.

You should consult a doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 14 days.

2. What you need to know before taking Valenat

Do not take Valenat

If you are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the other components of this medication (listed in section 6).

Children and adolescents

This medication is not recommended for children under 12 years old.

Due to its activity, it is possible that this medication may enhance the effects of other sedative, tranquilizing, or sleep-inducing medications, such as barbiturates, benzodiazepines, antihistamines H1, so if you are being treated with any of these, consult your doctor before taking this medication.

3. How to take Valenat

The recommended dose is:

Adults, adolescents, and children over 12 years old:

  • For the relief of mild symptoms of mental stress: 1-2 capsules, 3 times a day.
  • As a sleep aid: 1-2 capsules between half an hour and one hour before bedtime. If necessary, you can take an additional dose in the afternoon.

The recommended treatment duration is 4 weeks; however, if you observe that your symptoms do not improve or worsen within 14 days, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not use this medication for more than 4 weeks without consulting your doctor or pharmacist.

Use in children and adolescents

This medication is not recommended for children under 12 years old.

If you take more Valenat than you should

In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, consult your doctor, pharmacist, or call the Toxicology Information Service, phone 91.562.04.20, indicating the medication and the amount ingested.

5. Storage of Valenat
