1. Qué es Valdispert Complex y para qué se utiliza

Valdispert Complex es un medicamento a base de plantas, perteneciente a un grupo de medicamentos denominados hipnóticos y sedantes en combinación excluyendo barbitúricos (para ayudarle a conciliar el sueño y relajarse).

Está indicado para el alivio de la tensión nerviosa leve (situaciones de nerviosismo, irritabilidad) y de los trastornos del sueño.

Si es alérgico (hipersensible) al extracto de raíz de valeriana, al extracto de pasiflora o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de Valdispert Complex.

3. Cómo tomar Valdispert Complex

Valdispert Complex se administra por vía oral.

Siga estas instrucciones a menos que su médico o farmacéutico le haya dado otras indicaciones distintas. Consulte a su médico o farmacéutico si tiene dudas.

Adolescentes mayores de 12 años, adultos, ancianos:

  • Alivio de la tensión nerviosa leve: 1-2 comprimidos en cualquier momento del día, y en caso necesario, puede administrarse una nueva dosis (1-2 comprimidos) antes de acostarse.
  • Trastornos del sueño: 1-2 comprimidos antes de acostarse.

Debido a la aparición gradual de los efectos de la raíz de valeriana, su uso no es adecuado para el tratamiento en fase aguda de los casos de nerviosismo e insomnio. Para alcanzar el efecto esperado se recomienda una duración del tratamiento de 2-4 semanas.

El tratamiento recomendado es de 4 semanas, no obstante si usted observa que en un plazo de 2 semanas sus síntomas no mejoran o empeoran deberá consultar con su médico o farmacéutico.

Si toma más Valdispert Complex del que debiera

Si ha tomado Valdispert Complex más de lo que debe, consulte inmediatamente a su médico o a su farmacéutico.

La raíz de valeriana en una dosis de aproximadamente 20 g causó síntomas benignos (fatiga, calambres abdominales, tensión en el pecho, mareo, temblor de la mano y midriasis), que desaparecieron dentro de las 24 horas siguientes.

En caso de aparición de estos síntomas deberá realizarse un seguimiento y emplear medidas de soporte adecuadas.

En caso de sobredosis o ingestión accidental, acuda a un centro médico indicando el producto y la cantidad ingerida o llame al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono 91 562 04 20.

Si olvidó tomar Valdispert Complex

No tome una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, Valdispert Complex puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

Las reacciones adversas son raras, si bien las más frecuentes son los dolores de cabeza y síntomas gastrointestinales, como náuseas y calambres abdominales, que pueden ocurrir después de la ingestión de preparados de raíz de valeriana. Se desconoce la frecuencia.

Se ha notificado un caso de alergia (hipersensibilidad) en el que se produjo inflamación de los vasos sanguíneos (vasculitis) y uno de náuseas y taquicardia (aumento del número de latidos del corazón) con el uso de pasiflora. Se desconoce la frecuencia.

Si considera que alguno de los efectos adversos que sufre es grave o si aprecia cualquier efecto adverso no mencionado en este prospecto, informe a su médico o farmacéutico.

5. Conservación de Valdispert Complex

No requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.

Mantener fuera del alcance y de la vista de los niños.

No utilice Valdispert Complex después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

Composición de Valdispert Complex

  • Cada comprimido recubierto contiene como principios activos:

60 mg de extracto etanólico seco granulado de raíz de Valeriana officinalis (equivalente a 180-360 mg de raíz de Valeriana). Solvente de extracción: etanol al 70 % v/v.

30 mg de extracto etanólico seco de Pasiflora incarnata (equivalente a 150-210 mg de Pasiflora).

Solvente de extracción: etanol al 60 % v/v.

  • Los demás componentes son celulosa microcristalina (E-460), sílice coloidal anhidra (E-551), estearato de magnesio (E-572), talco (E-553b), goma laca, copolímero vinilpirrolidona-acetato de vinilo, povidona, carmelosa sódica, sacarosa, dióxido de titanio (E 171), caolín, cera de abejas blanca, cera carnauba.
