1. What HORSETAIL ARKOPHARMA is and what it is used for

Traditional herbal medicinal product to increase the amount of urine, achieving cleansing of the urinary tract and helping with mild urinary disorders.

Traditional herbal medicinal product used to strengthen hair and brittle nails.

Based exclusively on its traditional use.

You should consult a doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 7 days.

2. What you need to know before taking HORSETAIL ARKOPHARMA

If you are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the other components of this medication (listed in section 6).

If you have been advised to reduce fluid intake (such as in the case of heart or kidney disease).

Warnings and Precautions

Consult your pharmacist or doctor before starting to take HORSETAIL ARKOPHARMA.

If you experience symptoms such as fever, discomfort while urinating, spasms, or blood in the urine, you should consult a doctor.

It is not recommended for administration to children under 12 years of age.

Children

Do not use in children under 12 years of age without consulting a doctor.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or plan to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medication.

There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant or breastfeeding women, so its administration is not recommended.

Driving and Using Machines

No effects on the ability to drive and use machines have been reported.

3. How to take HORSETAIL ARKOPHARMA

Follow the administration instructions for the medication contained in this package leaflet or as indicated by your pharmacist or doctor. In case of doubt, ask your pharmacist or doctor.

The recommended dose is:

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: take 3 capsules in the morning at breakfast, 3 capsules at lunch, and 3 capsules at dinner with a glass of water.

This medication is for oral use.

Use for a period of 2 to 4 weeks.

If symptoms worsen or persist after 7 days, you should consult a doctor.

Use in Children

Do not use in children under 12 years of age without consulting a doctor.

No cases of overdose with HORSETAIL ARKOPHARMA have been reported. In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, consult your pharmacist or doctor immediately or call the Toxicology Information Service, phone 91 562 04 20, indicating the product and the amount ingested.

If you forget to takeHORSETAIL ARKOPHARMA

In case of forgetting a dose, take the medication as soon as possible, continuing the treatment as prescribed. However, if the next dose is near, it is best not to take the forgotten dose and wait for the next one. Do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten doses.

4. Possible Side Effects

Like all medications, this medication can cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them.

Moderate gastrointestinal complications and allergic reactions (rashes) have been described. The frequency is unknown.

5. Storage of HORSETAIL ARKOPHARMA

Keep this medication out of sight and reach of children.

Do not store at a temperature above 30°C.

Do not use this medication after the expiration date stated on the packaging, after the abbreviation "CAD". The expiration date is the last day of the month indicated.

Medications should not be disposed of through wastewater or household waste. Deposit the packaging and any unused medications at the pharmacy's SIGRE point. If in doubt, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the packaging and any unused medications. This will help protect the environment.

Composition ofHORSETAIL ARKOPHARMA

Each capsule contains as the active ingredient: 190 mg of cryomilled aerial parts of Equisetum arvense L. (Horsetail).

The other components are the excipients: gelatin (capsule coating).

There are 3 presentations in bottles containing 50, 100, and 200 capsules.
