How to Use the Easyhaler Inhaler
About Your Easyhaler Inhaler
Bufomix Easyhaler may be different from other inhalers you have used before. It is very important that you use it correctly, otherwise, you may not receive the correct amount of medication. This could make you feel unwell or could be the cause that your asthma or COPD is not treated properly.
Your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist will teach you how to use your inhaler correctly. Make sure you understand how to use the inhaler correctly. If you are not sure, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist again. As with all inhalers, caregivers should ensure that children who have been prescribed Bufomix Easyhaler use the correct inhalation technique, as described below.
First Use of the Easyhaler
The Easyhaler inhaler is presented in an aluminum bag. You should only remove it from the aluminum bag when you are ready to start using it because it keeps the powder dry inside the inhaler. When you are ready to start treatment, open the bag and note the opening date, e.g., in your calendar. Use the inhaler for 4 months from the date the aluminum bag was opened. |

Keep your inhaler dry and clean. If necessary, you can clean the mouthpiece with a dry cloth. Do not use water: the powder inside the Easyhaler inhaler is sensitive to moisture.
Using the Easyhaler with a Protective Cap You can use a protective cap with your Easyhaler. This favors the durability of the product. The first time you place the inhaler in the protective cap, make sure the cap covers the mouthpiece of the inhaler, as this will prevent the inhaler from being activated accidentally. You can use the inhaler without removing it from the protective cap. Follow the instructions indicated above, 1.Shake - 2. Actuate - 3. Inhale. Remember:

|
When to Start Using a New Inhaler The inhaler has a dose counter that informs you about the number of doses (inhalations) left in your inhaler. The dose counter moves every 5 activations. When the dose counter starts to turn red, there are 20 doses left. If you do not yet have a new Easyhaler inhaler, contact your doctor for a new prescription. When the indicator reaches 0 (zero), you will need to replace the inhaler. If you use a protective cap, keep it and insert the new inhaler. |
