1. What Bohm Evacuant Solution is and what it is used for
Bohm Evacuant Solution belongs to a group of medications called osmotic laxatives that induce intestinal evacuation.
Bohm Evacuant Solution is indicated in adults for:
- Cleaning the digestive system prior to a colonoscopy, surgery, radiological examination, and other examinations of the digestive or genitourinary system.
- Treatment of chronic constipation of non-organic cause (not originating from the body), which has previously been treated without satisfactory results with a high-fiber and water diet and increased daily physical exercise.
2. What you need to know before taking Bohm Evacuant Solution
Do not take Bohm Evacuant Solution:
- If you are allergic to Macrogol 4000, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, anhydrous sodium sulfate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium phosphate, or any of the other components of this medication, including those listed in section 6.
- If you have a stomach or intestinal ulcer.
- If you have delayed stomach emptying.
- If you have difficult or obstructed intestinal passage, such as intestinal obstruction or ileus.
- If you have an inflammatory disease of the intestine, such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, and megacolon.

3. How to Take Bohm Evacuant Solution
Follow the administration instructions of this medication exactly as indicated by your doctor. In case of doubt, consult your doctor again.
The recommended dose is:
- Cleaning the digestive system prior to a colonoscopy, surgery, radiological examination, and other examinations of the digestive or genitourinary system:
16 sachets, taking 1 sachet dissolved in 200-250 ml of water (a glass) every 10-15 minutes, until the entire volume has been ingested or the stool is clear. Do not eat any food during the 3 or 4 hours before administration and do not eat solid food in the 2 hours before use.
Administration of the solution is done orally, and a nasogastric tube can be used in patients who are reluctant or unable to drink the solution.
The first intestinal movement should occur approximately one hour after starting administration of the solution.
- Treatment of chronic constipation of non-organic cause:
