2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a tomar Redseng

No tome Redseng

  • Si es alérgico al principio activo o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6).
  • Si padece de hipertensión arterial, arritmias cardiacas, ansiedad, nerviosismo o excitabilidad.

Advertencias y precauciones

Este medicamento puede provocar hipertensión, ansiedad y aumento del nerviosismo, irritabilidad e insomnio.

Niños y adolescentes

No deben utilizar este medicamento los niños y adolescentes menores de 18 años.

Toma de Redseng con otros medicamentos

Comunique a su médico o farmacéutico que está tomando, ha tomado recientemente o podría tener que tomar cualquier otro medicamento.

Antes tomar este medicamento consulte a su médico si esta en tratamiento con digoxina o con terapia anticoagulante, tal como warfarina ya que el ginseng puede modificar los efectos de su tratamiento habitual. Consulte a su médico si está en tratamiento con IMAO (inhibidores de la monoaminooxidasa) tales como fenelzina, ya que puede potenciar la aparición de efectos adversos (temblores, insomnio, irritabilidad, etc.) Los pacientes diabéticos deberán tener especial cuidado ya que podrían necesitar el ajuste de dosis de insulina porque este medicamento puede reducir los niveles de glucosa en sangre.

Toma de Redseng con alimentos, bebidas y alcohol

Debe limitarse la toma de bebidas con cafeína, porque puede aumentar el riesgo de aparición de nerviosismo, irritabilidad e insomnio.

Embarazo, lactancia y fertilidad

Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, o cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar este medicamento. No se han realizado estudios para establecer la seguridad de uso de este medicamento durante el embarazo o la lactancia, por lo que no se recomienda su administración en estas circunstancias.

3. Cómo tomar Redseng

La dosis recomendada es de:

Adultos: Tomar de 3 a 5 comprimidos al día.

Este medicamento se utiliza vía oral.

No utilice este medicamento durante más de 2 meses sin consultar a su médico o farmacéutico.

Uso en niños y adolescentes

No se recomienda la administración de este medicamento a niños y adolescentes menores de 18 años.

Si toma más Redseng del que debiera

En caso de sobredosis podrían potenciarse los efectos adversos descritos, En caso de ingestión accidental, consulte a su farmacéutico o médico o llame al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono 91 562 04 20, indicando el producto y la cantidad ingerida.

Si olvidó tomar Redseng

En caso de olvido de una dosis, tome el medicamento lo antes posible continuando el tratamiento de la forma prescrita. Sin embargo, si está próxima la siguiente dosis, es mejor que no tome la dosis olvidada y espere a la siguiente. En ningún caso tome una dosis doble para compensar la dosis olvidada.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, Redseng puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

Puede producirse excitación, insomnio, nerviosismo, diarrea, dolor de cabeza, hipertensión arterial o erupciones de la piel, se desconoce la frecuencia de aparición de estos efectos.

Si experimenta efectos adversos, consulte a su médico, farmacéutico o enfermero, incluso si se trata de efectos adversos que no aparecen en este prospecto.

5. Conservación de Redseng

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.
