PATIENT INFORMATION LEAFLET
Read the entire leaflet carefully, as it contains important information for the patient. 100 g of liquid contains: - active substance: alcohol 45 g, 2-propanol 28 g, lactic acid 0.3 g; - excipients: myristyl alcohol, medium-chain triglycerides, glycerol 85%, purified water.

1. What is Sensiva and what is it used for
Sensiva is a solution of active substances: 1-propanol (propyl alcohol), 2-propanol (isopropyl alcohol), and lactic acid. It has bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal effects.
Sensiva also contains moisturizing and emollient excipients.
It prevents dryness and maintains skin elasticity.
The medicine has a pH of 5.5.
Indications:
Sensiva is an alcoholic preparation for hygienic and surgical skin disinfection.
- Before using Sensiva
Sensiva should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to 1-propanol, 2-propanol, and lactic acid or to any of the medicine's components.
Particular caution should be exercised when using Sensiva.
The medicine is intended for use on the skin only.
Contact with the eyes and mucous membranes should be avoided.
If the medicine is used contrary to the indications and instructions, the alcohols contained in the medicine may cause irritation or be absorbed through the skin, increasing damage and causing systemic effects.
The medicine is flammable.
A doctor should be consulted, even if the above warnings concern situations that occurred in the past.

3. How to use Sensiva
3 ml of Sensiva should be rubbed into dry hands for 30 seconds.
Skin disinfection before surgical procedures:
Within a minute, ensuring constant wetting of the skin, 10 ml of Sensiva should be rubbed in for 5 minutes, until the skin is thoroughly moistened.
Wait until the skin is completely dry.
If the skin becomes dry, the procedure can be repeated after examining the skin.
In case of doubt, a doctor should be consulted.
4. Possible side effects
Like any medicine, Sensiva can cause side effects.
Dryness and skin irritation may occur. Rarely, allergic contact dermatitis or contact urticaria may occur.
If other side effects occur that are not listed in this leaflet, the doctor should be informed.
5. Storage of Sensiva
Store at room temperature, out of reach and sight of children.
Due to the low flash point (23°C), special safety precautions should be taken during use and storage.
The medicine is flammable.
The medicine should not be used after the expiration date stated on the packaging.
