1. What is Promanum pure and what is it used for

The medicine contains active substances - ethanol (ethyl alcohol) and isopropyl alcohol, which have bactericidal effects on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (including spores) and antiviral (including HBV, HIV) and fungicidal effects. It does not affect spores.

Indications for use:

Disinfection of skin on hands and surgical disinfection of skin on hands.

2. Important information before using Promanum pure

When not to use Promanum pure:

  • in case of hypersensitivity to ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol, or to any of the excipients of the medicine;
  • orally;
  • on injured or dry skin.

Warnings and precautions

The medicine is intended for use on the skin of hands only.
Avoid contact of the medicine with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact of the medicine with eyes or mucous membranes, rinse them with a large amount of water.
In case of using the medicine not in accordance with the indications and method of use, the alcohols contained in the preparation may cause irritation or be absorbed through the skin, especially damaged skin, and cause systemic effects.
The medicine is flammable. Keep the medicine away from fire; do not smoke near it.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, fertility

Before using the medicine, consult a doctor.
Although Promanum pure is used locally on undamaged skin and the absorption of alcohol through the skin is small, it is recommended to exercise caution when using it for skin disinfection during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Promanum pure does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and operate mechanical equipment in motion.

3. How to use Promanum pure

The medicine should not be diluted.
Disinfection of skin on hands:
Rub 3 ml of undiluted liquid into your hands for 30 seconds until the skin is dry.
Surgical disinfection of skin on hands:
Rub 2 times 3 ml of undiluted liquid into your hands and forearms for 90 seconds. The skin must be moistened throughout the application.
If you feel that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak, you should consult a doctor.

The medicine should be stored in a place inaccessible and invisible to children.
Store at a temperature below 25°C.
