This medicine should always be used exactly as described in the package leaflet for the patient, or as advised by your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.
Neo-Capsiderm is traditionally used as a warming agent for muscle pain (sprains, painful muscle spasms), as an auxiliary agent for pain in inflammatory joint conditions, and for neuralgia (inflammation of nerve roots, sciatica).
The medicine rubbed into the skin has an irritating effect on the skin, causing its hyperemia and redness, and has a warming effect. The expansion of blood vessels causes better blood supply to the painful area and faster resolution of swelling and inflammation. As a result of the resolution of inflammation, painful symptoms gradually subside.
Before starting to use Neo-Capsiderm, discuss it with your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.
After applying the medicine, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, removing any remaining medicine from your hands.
At the beginning of therapy, you may feel tingling, burning, in no case take a hot bath before or after applying the medicine, as this may intensify the feeling of tingling, burning.
In case of prolonged redness or swelling, discontinue use of the medicine, it is recommended to rinse the skin with hydrogen peroxide and consult a doctor.
Do not use Neo-Capsiderm in children and adolescents.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines you are taking, have recently taken, or might take.

Lanolin may cause local skin irritation (contact dermatitis).
Use externally on the skin.
Adults: gently rub a small amount of ointment into the painful areas 1-2 times a day.
The intervals between subsequent applications of the ointment should not be less than 4 hours. The break before re-applying to the same area must be at least 14 days. During application, avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not use on damaged skin.
Note: with longer use in the same place, nerve damage may occur.
Duration of use
Use for no longer than 2 days.
Do not use Neo-Capsiderm in children.
Applying too much Neo-Capsiderm may cause skin irritation.
Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

In case of accidental ingestion of Neo-Capsiderm ointment, consult a doctor immediately, who will prescribe the necessary treatment. Do not induce vomiting.
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
In some cases, allergic reactions (hives) may occur.
In case of persistence of an allergic reaction after discontinuation of the medicine, consult a doctor.
If any of the side effects get worse, or if you notice any side effects not listed in the leaflet, stop using the medicine and tell your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the packaging. The expiry date (EXP) is the last day of the month stated.

100 g of ointment contains active substances:
nonivamide (Nonivamidum) - 0.05 g, camphor (Camphora) - 5.3 g, turpentine oil from maritime pine (Terebinthinae aetheroleum a Pino pinastro) - 9.7 g, eucalyptus oil (Eucalypti aetheroleum) - 2.5 g.
Other ingredients (excipients) are: lanolin, petroleum jelly, liquid paraffin, white vaseline.
Neo-Capsiderm is an ointment.
The available packaging contains 30 g of ointment in an aluminum tube with a polyethylene cap in a cardboard box.
