1. Qué es Loratadina VIR y para qué se utiliza

Loratadina VIR pertenece a una clase de medicamentos conocidos como antihistamínicos.

Uso de Loratadina VIR con otros medicamentos

3. Cómo tomar Loratadina VIR

Adultos y niños mayores de 2 años de edad con un peso superior a 30 kg:

Tome un comprimido (10 mg) una vez al día.

Pacientes con problemas hepáticos graves con un peso superior a 30 kg:

Tome un comprimido (10 mg), una vez al día y en días alternos.

Loratadina VIR no es adecuado para:

  • la administración de dosis inferiores a 10 mg.
  • la administración en pacientes con peso inferior a 30 kg.
  • aquellos pacientes que tengan problemas al tragar.

Uso en niños

No se recomienda Loratadina VIR en niños menores de 2 años de edad.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, Loratadina VIR puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

Los efectos adversos comunicados más frecuentemente (menos de 1 por cada 10 pacientes pero más de 1 por cada 100 pacientes) incluyen somnolencia, dolor de cabeza, nerviosismo, cansancio, aumento del apetito y dificultad para dormir.

5. Conservación de Loratadina VIR

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No se precisan condiciones especiales de conservación.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

No utilice este medicamento si observa cualquier cambio en el aspecto del comprimido.

Composición de Loratadina Vir

  • El principio activo es loratadina. Cada comprimido contiene 10 mg de loratadina.
  • Los demás componentes (excipientes) son: lactosa, almidón de maíz, povidona y estearato de magnesio.

Aspecto del producto y contenido del envase

Loratadina Vir se presenta en forma de comprimidos ranurados redondos, blancos o casi blancos. La ranura sirve únicamente para fraccionar y facilitar la deglución pero no para dividir en dosis iguales.
