1. Qué es Flebostasin Retard y para qué se utiliza

Flebostasin Retard es un medicamento que pertenece al grupo de los protectores capilares.

Flebostasin Retard está indicado para el alivio a corto plazo (durante dos - tres meses) del edema y síntomas relacionados con la insuficiencia venosa crónica.

3. Cómo tomar Flebostasin Retard

Su médico le indicará la duración de su tratamiento con Flebostasin Retard.

La dosis recomendada es de 1 cápsula por la mañana y 1 cápsula por la noche. Tome las cápsulas enteras sin masticar, con ayuda de un poco de líquido y preferentemente antes de las comidas.

Si estima que la acción de Flebostasin Retard es demasiado fuerte o débil, comuníqueselo a su médico o farmacéutico.

Si toma más Flebostasin Retard del que debe

Si toma más cápsulas de las que debe tomar o si un niño ingiere accidentalmente una o más cápsulas, contacte inmediatamente con el médico o vaya al centro de urgencias del hospital más próximo y lleve con usted el envase del medicamento.

En caso de sobredosis o ingestión accidental, consulte inmediatamente a su médico o farmacéutico o llame al Servicio de Información Toxicológica. Teléfono 91 562 04 20, indicando el medicamento y la cantidad ingerida.

Si olvidó tomar Flebostasin Retard

Si olvidó tomar una dosis, tome la dosis habitual al día siguiente. No tome una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas.

Si interrumpe el tratamiento con Flebostasin Retard

No suspenda el tratamiento antes, ya que existe la posibilidad de que el tratamiento deje de tener efecto.

5. Conservación de Flebostasin Retard

Mantener fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

Conservar por debajo de 25°C.

Conservar en el embalaje original para protegerlo de la humedad.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de la abreviatura “CAD”. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

6. Contenido del envase e información adicional

Composición de Flebostasin Retard

El principio activo es escina. Cada cápsula de Flebostasin Retard contiene 50 mg de escina

(correspondiente a 300 mg de extracto de aesculus hippocastanum).

  • Los demás componentes son copolímero de vinilpirrolidona y vinil acetato, talco, dextrina, copolímero de metacrilato de amonio (Tipo B), copolímero de metacrilato de amonio (Tipo A) y trietilcitrato.
  • Componentes de la cápsula:

Gelatina, lauril sulfato de sodio, óxido de hierro negro (E-172), óxido de hierro rojo (E-172), óxido de hierro amarillo (E-172), dióxido de titanio (E-171), indigotina (E-132) y amarillo de quinoleína (E-104).

Aspecto del producto y contenido del envase

Flebostasin Retard se presenta en forma de cápsulas duras de liberación prolongada. La tapa de la cápsula es de color marrón opaco y el cuerpo de color verde transparente.
