1. Qué es Ebastina TecniGen 20 mg comprimidos y para qué se utiliza

Ebastina pertenece a un grupo de fármacos denominados antihistamínicos.

Ebastina TecniGen está indicado en el tratamiento sintomático de procesos alérgicos tales como rinitis alérgica estacional o perenne asociada o no a conjuntivitis alérgica (como descargas nasales, picor de nariz, picor de ojos, lagrimeo, ganas de estornudar), urticaria crónica y dermatitis alérgica.

2. Antes de tomar Ebastina TecniGen 20 mg comprimidos

No tome Ebastina TecniGen

Si usted es alérgico o ha tenido alguna reacción alérgica al principio activo de este medicamento o a alguno de sus componentes.

Tenga especial cuidado con Ebastina TecniGen

  • Si usted presenta un cuadro alérgico agudo de urgencia, ya que Ebastina TecniGen tarda de 1 a 3 horas en hacer efecto.
  • Ebastina TecniGen puede interferir con los resultados de las pruebas alérgicas cutáneas, por lo que se aconseja no realizarlas hasta transcurridos 5-7 días desde la interrupción del tratamiento.
  • Puede potenciar los efectos de otros antihistamínicos.
  • En pacientes con insuficiencia hepática leve o moderada no es necesario ajustar la dosis. En pacientes con insuficiencia hepática grave no debe superarse la dosis de 10 mg/día de ebastina.

Conducción y uso de máquinas

la medicación porque en algunos casos se ha producido somnolencia a las dosis habituales. Si fuera así, absténgase de conducir y manejar maquinaria peligrosa.

3. Cómo tomar Ebastina TecniGen 20 mg comprimidos

Recuerde tomar su medicamento.

Su médico le indicará la duración de su tratamiento con Ebastina TecniGen. No suspenda el tratamiento antes, ya que puede que empeoren sus síntomas.

La dosis recomendada en adultos y niños mayores de 12 años es de 1 comprimido (20 mg) una vez al día, independientemente de la toma de alimentos.

Los comprimidos de Ebastina TecniGen son para administración por vía oral. Los comprimidos deben tragarse enteros, sin masticarlos, con ayuda de un vaso de líquido, preferiblemente agua.

Si estima que la acción de Ebastina TecniGen es demasiado fuerte o débil, comuníqueselo a su médico o farmacéutico.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, Ebastina TecniGen puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

Las reacciones adversas fueron leves o moderadas, transitorias y se resolvieron espontáneamente sin tratamiento específico.

Los efectos adversos descritos son los siguientes:

Frecuentes (más de uno de cada 100, pero menos de uno de cada 10 pacientes): dolor de cabeza, somnolencia, sequedad de boca, faringitis, rinitis y cansancio.

Poco frecuentes (más de uno de cada 1000, pero menos de uno de cada 100 pacientes): dolor abdominal, molestias en la digestión, sangrado nasal, sinusitis, náusea e insomnio.

Frecuencia no conocida (no puede estimarse a partir de los datos disponibles):aumento de peso, aumento del apetito.

5. Conservación de Ebastina TecniGen 20 mg comprimidos

Mantener fuera del alcance y de la vista de los niños.

No se precisan condiciones especiales de conservación.

Caducidad

No utilizar Ebastina TecniGen comprimidos después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. Composición de Ebastina TecniGen 20 mg comprimidos

El principio activo es ebastina. Cada comprimido contiene 20 mg de ebastina.

Los demás componentes (excipientes) son: Lactosa monohidrato, celulosa microcristalina, almidón pregelatinizado, povidona 30, polisorbato 80, estearato de magnesio, hipromelosa, dióxido de titanio y triacetato de glicerol.
