1. Qué es Dioflav y para qué se utiliza

Dioflav es un medicamento venotónico: aumenta el tono de las venas y la resistencia de los capilares (pequeños vasos sanguíneos).

Está indicado, en adultos, para el alivio de los síntomas relacionados con la insuficiencia venosa leve de las extremidades inferiores, tales como dolor, sensación de pesadez, tirantez, hormigueo y picor en piernas con varices o piernas hinchadas.

Debe consultar a un médico si empeora o no mejora después de 2 semanas de tratamiento.

2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a tomar Dioflav

3. Cómo tomar Dioflav

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración del medicamento contenidas en este prospecto o las indicadas por su médico o farmacéutico. En caso de duda, pregunte a su médico o farmacéutico.

Adultos

La dosis recomendada es de 2 comprimidos al día, repartidos en dos tomas, un comprimido al mediodía, y otro por la noche, con las comidas.

Si los síntomas no mejoran o empeoran en las primeras 2 semanas de tratamiento, debe consultar al médico.

Por indicación del médico se puede continuar el tratamiento con la misma dosis diaria (2 comprimidos diarios) hasta 2-3 meses.

Si toma más Dioflavdel que debe:

En caso de sobredosis o ingestión accidental, consulte inmediatamente a su médico o farmacéutico o llame al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono: 91 562 04 20, indicando el medicamento y la cantidad ingerida.

Si olvidó tomarDioflav:

Es importante tomar este medicamento cada día. Sin embargo, si olvidó tomar una o más dosis de Dioflav, tome otra tan pronto como se acuerde y después siga con el tratamiento prescrito.

No tome una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, este medicamento puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

Estos efectos adversos incluyen:

  • Frecuentes (pueden afectar hasta 1 de cada 10 personas): trastornos gastrointestinales (diarrea, indigestión, náuseas, vómitos).
  • Poco Frecuentes (pueden afectar hasta 1 de cada 100 personas): colitis.
  • Raros (pueden afectar hasta 1 de cada 1000): trastornos del sistema nervioso (mareos, dolor de cabeza, malestar) y reacciones cutáneas (erupción cutánea, prurito, urticaria).
  • Frecuencia no conocida (no puede estimarse a partir de los datos disponibles): dolor abdominal, edema aislado de la cara, labios y párpados (hinchazón). Excepcionalmente edema de Quincke (hinchazón rápida de tejidos tales como la cara, labios, boca, lengua o garganta que pueden causar dificultad para respirar).

5. Conservación de Dioflav

Mantener fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

Conservar en el embalaje original para protegerlo de la luz.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de “CAD”. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

6. Contenido del envase e información adicional

Composición de Dioflav:

El principio activo es la diosmina (500 mg por comprimido).

Los demás componentes son:

  • Núcleo del comprimido: celulosa microcristalina (E-460), gelatina, carboximetilalmidón sódico de patata, talco y estearato de magnesio.
  • Recubrimiento del comprimido: lactosa monohidrato, hipromelosa, dióxido de titanio, macrogol 4000, óxido de hierro amarillo (E-172) y óxido de hierro rojo (E-172).

Aspecto del producto y contenido del envase:

Comprimidos recubiertos con película, biconvexos, oblongos, de color salmón y marcados con “D500” en una cara.

Cada envase contiene 30 ó 60 comprimidos.
