1. Qué es Cloruro de Sodio B. Braun 20% y para qué se utiliza

Cloruro de sodio es una solución concentrada para solución para perfusión para tratar la carencia de sodio y cloruro. Se le aplicará después de diluirse en una solución para perfusión, mediante una cánula colocada en la vena (goteo intravenoso).

Se le administrará como suplemento de sales cuando:

  • presente bajos niveles de sodio o de cloruro

2. Antes de usar Cloruro de Sodio B. Braun 20%

No use Cloruro de Sodio B. Braun:

  • si es alérgico (hipersensible) al cloruro de sodio o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de este medicmaneto (incluidos en la sección 6).
  • si tiene niveles altos de sodio o cloruro en sangre

Advertencias y precauciones

Consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de usar Cloruro B. Braun 20% si usted tiene:

  • niveles de potasio en sangre por debajo de lo normal (hipocaliemia)
  • insuficiencia cardíaca

3. Cómo usar Cloruro de Sodio B. Braun 20%

Este medicamento se administrará por perfusión, vía intravenosa y diluido en la solución adecuada.

Su médico determinara cual es la dosis más adecuada para usted. La concentración depende de la edad, peso y estado clínico de paciente, en particular del nivel de sodio y del estado de hidratación.

Si sus niveles de sodio se han mantenido crónicamente bajos, su doctor le administrara Cloruro de Sodio B. Braun a una velocidad de perfusión más lenta para evitar daño cerebral (véase también en la sección “Si usa más Cloruro de Sodio B. Braun 20% del que debe”).

Signos de sobredosis

5. Conservación de Cloruro de Sodio B. Braun 20%.

Mantener fuera de la vista y el alcance de los niños.

No requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.

No utilice Cloruro de Sodio B. Braun 20% después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase (después de CAD). La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

No utilice este medicamento si la solución aparece turbia o descolorida, si encuentra partículas en la solución o si la ampolla y el cierre están dañados.

El contenido de las ampollas debe ser utilizado inmediatamente tras su apertura. Una vez abierto el envase, desechar la porción no utilizada de la solución.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE Símbolo circular con una cruz negra en el centro y una flecha curvada que indica rotación en sentido horario de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

El principio activo es cloruro de sodio.

1 ml de concentrado para solución para perfusión contiene 200 mg de cloruro de sodio.

1 ml de concentrado de solución para perfusión contiene 3,4 mmol de sodio y 3,4 mmol de cloruros.
