1. Qué es CARDO MARIANO ARKOPHARMA y para qué se utiliza

Medicamento tradicional a base de plantas para el alivio sintomático de problemas digestivos, como digestiones pesadas, sensación de plenitud y para facilitar la función hepática, una vez que el médico haya excluido una situación clínica grave.

Este producto es un medicamento tradicional a base de plantas para uso en la indicación especificada, basada exclusivamente en su uso de larga tradición.

2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a tomar CARDO MARIANO ARKOPHARMA

No tome CARDO MARIANO ARKOPHARMA

Si es alérgico al principio activo o a alguno de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6) o a la familia de plantas Asteraceae (Compositae).

Si los síntomas persisten o empeoran durante el uso del medicamento, debe consultar a un médico o a un profesional sanitario cualificado. Si aparece ictericia, o cambios en el color en orina o en heces, se debe consultar al médico inmediatamente.

Niños y adolescentes

No utilizar en niños ni adolescentes menores de 18 años.

Informe a su médico o farmacéutico si está utilizando, ha utilizado recientemente o pudiera tener que utilizar cualquier otro medicamento.

3. Cómo tomar CARDO MARIANO ARKOPHARMA

Siga estas instrucciones a menos que su médico le haya dado otras indicaciones distintas.

La dosis recomendada es:

Adultos: tomar 2 cápsulas, 2 veces al día en las dos comidas principales (comida y cena) con un vaso de agua.

Este medicamento se utiliza vía oral.

El tratamiento recomendado es de 14 días, no obstante, si usted observa que en un plazo de 7 días sus síntomas no mejoran o empeoran, deberá consultar a su farmacéutico o médico.

Uso en niños y adolescentes:

No utilizar en niños ni adolescentes menores de 18 años.

Si toma más CARDO MARIANO ARKOPHARMA del que debe

No se han descrito casos de sobredosificación con CARDO MARIANO ARKOPHARMA.

En caso de sobredosis o ingestión accidental, consulte inmediatamente a su farmacéutico o médico o llame al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono 91 562 04 20, indicando el producto y la cantidad ingerida.

Si olvidó tomar CARDO MARIANO ARKOPHARMA

En caso de olvido de una dosis, tome el medicamento lo antes posible continuando el tratamiento de la forma prescrita. Sin embargo, si está próxima la siguiente dosis, es mejor que no tome la dosis olvidada y espere a la siguiente. En ningún caso tome una dosis doble para compensar la dosis olvidada.

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, este medicamento puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

Se han descrito problemas gastrointestinales moderados como sequedad bucal, náusea, malestar estomacal, irritación gástrica y diarrea; dolor de cabeza; pueden ocurrir reacciones alérgicas (dermatitis, uritcaria, rash, prurito, anafilaxia, asma). No se conoce con qué frecuencia pueden aparecer estos efectos adversos.

5. Conservación de CARDO MARIANO ARKOPHARMA

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No conservar a temperatura superior a 25ºC.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase, después de la abreviatura “CAD”. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto Sigre de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico como deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

Cada cápsula contiene como principio activo: 390 mg de frutos criomolidos de Silybum marianumL. Gaertner (Cardo mariano).

Los demás componentes son los excipientes: hipromelosa (cubierta de la cápsula).
