2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a tomar Calcio-20

No tome Calcio-20

Si toma Calcio-20 conjuntamente con alimentos que contienen ácido oxálico (presente en espinacas y ruibarbo) o ácido fítico (presente en pan integral y cereales integrales), pueden producirse interacciones, por lo que se aconseja no tomar Calcio-20 durante las dos horas siguientes a haber tomado alimentos con alto contenido en ácido oxálico y ácido fítico.

Embarazo, lactancia y fertilidad

Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar este medicamento.

Calcio-20 puede utilizarse durante el embarazo en caso de una deficiencia de calcio.

Este medicamento contiene 1,15 mg de sal de sodio de ácido benzoico (E-211) en cada ml. El benzoato de sodio puede aumentar el riesgo de ictericia (coloración amarillenta de la piel y los ojos) en los recién nacidos (hasta de 4 semanas de edad).

3. Cómo tomar Calcio-20

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración del medicamento contenidas en este prospecto o las indicadas por su médico o farmacéutico. En caso de duda pregunte a su médico o farmacéutico.

La dosis recomendada es:

Adultos: 1 cucharada (15 ml) en las 3 principales comidas del día

Niños: 2 cucharaditas (10 ml) en las 3 principales comidas del día

1 cucharada = 15 ml = 125 mg de calcio elemento.

2 cucharaditas = 10 ml = 83,3 mg de calcio elemento.

Agitar el frasco antes de cada toma

Si toma más Calcio-20 del que debe

Si usted ha tomado más Calcio-20 de lo que debe, consulte inmediatamente a su médico, farmacéutico o llame al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono 91-562-04-20, indicando el medicamento y la cantidad tomada.

En caso de sobredosis puede experimentar sensación de sed, náuseas, vómitos, estreñimiento, perdida de apetito, dolor abdominal, debilidad muscular, fatiga, alteraciones mentales, polidipsia (sed excesiva), poliuria (aumento de la frecuencia de orinar), dolor de los huesos, nefrocalcinosis (elevada cantidad de calcio en los riñones), cálculos (piedras) en los riñones y en casos severos, arritmias cardíacas (velocidad anormal de los latidos del corazón).

Si olvidó tomar Calcio-20

No tome una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

5. Conservación de Calcio-20

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

No requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. Composición de Calcio-20

El principio activo es fosfato tricálcico. Cada ml de emulsión oral contiene 20,88 mg fosfato tricálcico (equivalente a 8,12 mg de calcio) .

Los demás componentes (excipientes) son: parafina líquida, carboximetilcelulosa sódica, benzoato sódico, sorbato potásico, parahidroxibenzoato de metilo (sal sódica), ciclamato sódico, sacarina sódica, esencia de curaçao, esencia de limón, esencia de piña y agua purificada.
