1. Qué es BISOLVON MUCOLÍTICO y para qué se utiliza

La bromhexina, principio activo de este medicamento, pertenece a los llamados mucolíticos que actúan disminuyendo la viscosidad de las secreciones mucosas, fluidificándolas y facilitando su eliminación.

Este medicamento está indicado para reducir la viscosidad de mocos y flemas, facilitando su expulsión, en resfriados y gripes.

Debe consultar a un médico si empeora o si no mejora después de 5 días de tratamiento.

2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a tomar BISOLVON MUCOLÍTICO

Durante los primeros días de tratamiento al fluidificarse las secreciones, podrá observar un aumento de mocos y flemas, que irá disminuyendo a lo largo del tratamiento.

No tome BISOLVON MUCOLÍTICO:

  • si es alérgico a la bromhexina o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6).
  • No utilizar en niños menores de 2 años.

Advertencias y precauciones

Consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de empezar a tomar Bisolvon Mucolítico.

Se han recibido notificaciones de reacciones cutáneas graves asociadas a la administración de bromhexina hidrocloruro. Si le aparece una erupción en la piel (incluidas lesiones de las mucosas de, por ejemplo, la boca, la garganta, la nariz, los ojos y los genitales), deje de usar Bisolvon Mucolítico y consulte a su médico inmediatamente.

Debe consultar al médico antes de tomar este medicamento si tiene:

  • Enfermedad grave de hígado
  • Enfermedad grave de riñón
  • Si es usted asmático o tiene antecedentes de asma, padece alguna enfermedad respiratoria grave o tiene alguna dificultad para toser

Niños y adolescentes

No administre este medicamento a niños menores de 12 añossin consultar al médico. Los niños menores de 2 añosno pueden tomar este medicamento, está contraindicado en ellos.

Toma de Bisolvon Mucolítico con otros medicamentos

Informe a su médico o farmacéutico si está tomando o ha tomado recientemente o pudiera tener que tomar cualquier otro medicamento. No administrar conjuntamente con medicamentos antitusivos (para la tos) o con aquéllos que disminuyen las secreciones bronquiales, ya que se puede provocar un acúmulo del moco fluidificado. No se han notificado interacciones negativas con antibióticos.

Toma de BISOLVON MUCOLÍTICO con alimentos y bebidas

La toma de este medicamento con alimentos y bebidas no afecta a la eficacia del tratamiento.

Embarazo, lactancia y fertilidad

Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar este medicamento.

No se han realizado estudios de los efectos de Bisolvon Mucolítico sobre la fertilidad humana.

Este medicamento no se debe utilizar durante el embarazo o la lactancia.

Conducción y uso de máquinas

Durante el tratamiento con este medicamento, en algunas ocasiones se pueden producir mareos, por lo que si se marea no conduzca ni maneje máquinas.

BISOLVON MUCOLÍTICO contiene maltitol líquido

Este medicamento contiene maltitol líquido. Si su médico le ha indicado que padece una intolerancia a ciertos azúcares, consulte con él antes de tomar este medicamento.

Puede producir un ligero efecto laxante porque contiene 2,5 g de maltitol líquido por cada 5 ml.

Valor calórico: 2,3 kcal/ g de maltitol/isomaltosa.

BISOLVON MUCOLÍTICO contiene ácido benzoico

Este medicamento contiene 1,27 mg de ácido benzoico en cada ml. El ácido benzoico puede aumentar el riesgo de ictericia (coloración amarillenta de la piel y los ojos) en los recién nacidos (hasta de 4 semanas de edad).

3. Cómo tomar BISOLVON MUCOLÍTICO

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración del medicamento contenidas en este prospecto o las indicadas por su médico o farmacéutico. En caso de duda pregunte a su médico o farmacéutico.

La dosis recomendada es:

Adultos y niños mayores de 12 años: administrar 10 ml (16 mg) por toma, 3 veces al día. No superar la dosis de 30 ml al día (48 mg).

Uso en niños y adolescentes: los niños de edades comprendidas entre 2 y 12 años no pueden tomar este medicamento sin consultar al médico.

Cómo tomar:

Este medicamento se toma por vía oral

Medir la dosis con el vasito dosificador que se incluye.

Se recomienda beber un vaso de agua o cualquier otro líquido después de cada dosis, y abundante cantidad de líquido durante el día.

  • Si los síntomas persisten después de 5 díasde tratamiento, o se produce: fiebre, erupciones en la piel, dolor de cabeza persistente o dolor de garganta, debe consultar al médico.

Si toma más BISOLVON MUCOLÍTICO del que debe:

Si ha tomado más Bisolvón Mucolítico del que debe, se pueden intensificar los efectos adversos sobre todo los de tipo estómago e intestino. Consulte inmediatamente al médico o al farmacéutico, o bien llame al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono: 915.620.420, indicando el medicamento y la cantidad ingerida.

No tome una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, BISOLVON MUCOLÍTICO puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

  • Efectos adversos poco frecuentes (pueden afectar hasta 1 de cada 100 personas):
  • Vómitos, diarreas, náuseas, dolor en la parte superior del abdomen,
  • Efectos adversos raros (pueden afectar a 1 de cada 1.000 personas):
  • Reacciones de hipersensibilidad
  • Broncoespasmo (cierre de conductos de aire en los pulmones)
  • Exantema, urticaria.
  • Frecuencia no conocida (no puede estimarse a partir de los datos disponibles):
  • Reacciones anafilácticas, tales como choque anafiláctico, angioedema (hinchazón de rápida progresión de la piel, de los tejidos subcutáneos, de las mucosas o de los tejidos submucosos) y prurito.
  • Mareos y dolor de cabeza
  • Ardor de estómago
  • Aumento de los niveles de transaminasas (enzimas hepáticas)

5. Conservación de BISOLVON MUCOLÍTICO

No precisa condiciones especiales de conservación.

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

No utilice este medicamento después de 12 meses de abrir el envase por primera vez.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesite en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

Composición de BISOLVON MUCOLÍTICO

  • Cada ml de jarabe contiene como principio activo 1,6 miligramos de Bromhexina hidrocloruro
  • Los demás componentes (excipientes) son: maltitol líquido (E965), ácido benzóico (E-210), sucralosa, aroma de cereza, aroma de chocolate, levomentol y agua purificada.
