1. What is Betahistina Bluefish and what is it used for
Betahistina Bluefish contains betahistine dihydrochloride. This medication is a type of medication called a "histamine analogue". It is used to treat:
Ménière's Syndrome.
The symptoms of Ménière's Syndrome may include vertigo, tinnitus, hearing loss associated with nausea, otology and/or headache.
- Vertigo (feeling of dizziness). This medication works by improving circulation in the inner ear and thus reducing pressure.
- Tinnitus (ringing in the ears).
- Hearing loss or difficulty hearing.
2. What you need to know before taking Betahistina Bluefish
Do not take Betahistina Bluefish:
- If you are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the other components of this medication (listed in section 6),
- If you have hypertension due to a certain type of adrenal gland cancer called pheochromocytoma.
