1. Qué es Benerva 300 mg y para qué se utiliza

Benerva contiene Tiamina (Vitamina B1), una vitamina hidrosoluble que interviene en muchos procesos del metabolismo humano.

Está indicado en:

Tratamiento de deficiencia importante de Vitamina B1 debido a un incremento de requerimientos, ingesta reducida o absorción reducida.

Situaciones frecuentemente acompañadas por deficiencias de Vitamina B1 y que requieren suplementación incluyen: consumo excesivo de alcohol regularmente, estado nutricional deteriorado.

Benerva 300 mg está indicado en adultos a partir de 18 años.

2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a tomar Benerva 300 mg

No tome Benerva:

  • Si es alérgico al principio activo o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6)

  • si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia

  • Si hubiese padecido con anterioridad una alergia a la vitamina B1 al contacto con su piel (dermatitis de contacto) por motivos profesionales por ejemplo, podría sufrir una recaída al tomar este medicamento.
  • Interferencias con pruebas analíticas: Si le van a realizar alguna prueba diagnóstica (incluidos análisis de sangre, orina, pruebas cutáneas que utilizan alergenos, etc...) comunique al médico que está tomando este medicamento, ya que puede alterar los resultados. En algunas determinaciones de ácido úrico, urobilinógeno o teofilina se podrían producir falsos resultados.

Niños

Este medicamento no está recomendado en menores de 18 años.

Toma de Benerva con otros medicamentos

Benerva puede interaccionar con los siguientes medicamentos:

3. Cómo tomar Benerva 300 mg

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración del medicamento contenidas en este prospecto o las indicadas por su médico o farmacéutico. En caso de duda, pregunte a su médico o farmacéutico.

La dosis recomendada es:

Vía oral.

  • Adultos a partir de 18 años:

Se recomienda tomar 1 comprimido al día para el tratamiento de síntomas claros de deficiencia.

El tratamiento en general no debe ser superior a 2 semanas de forma continuada.

Se recomienda ingerir los comprimidos con cantidad suficiente de agua preferiblemente antes de una comida.

Si toma más Benerva del que debe

Grandes dosis no producen efectos apreciables.

En caso de sobredosis o ingestión accidental, consultar al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, Teléfono 91 562 04 20, o consulte a su médico, o acuda a un centro médico, indicando el medicamento y la cantidad ingerida.

Si olvidó tomar Benerva

No use una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, este medicamento puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

Al ser notificadas estas reacciones voluntariamente, no se conoce su frecuencia con exactitud:

  • Se ha notificado reacción alérgica, reacciones de hipersensibilidad con síntomas que pueden ser respiratorios (como respiración con silbidos), reacciones leves a moderadas en la piel, síntomas en el aparato digestivo y/o en el sistema cardiovascular. Los síntomas pueden incluir erupciones (rash), picor, urticaria (especie de ronchas rojizas en la piel generalmente con picor), rápida hinchazón en la piel y mucosas (angioedema) y dificultad cardio-respiratoria.

Si tuviera lugar una reacción alérgica, hay que interrumpir el tratamiento y consultar un profesional sanitario.

5. Conservación de Benerva

Mantener el envase perfectamente cerrado para protegerlo de la humedad.

Conservar por debajo de 30ºC.

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en la etiqueta y la caja después de “CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. Pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse delos envases y de los medicamentos que ya no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

Composición deBenerva 300 mg comprimidos

  • El principio activo es Tiamina hidrocloruro (Vitamina B1). Cada comprimido recubierto contiene 300 mg de tiamina hidrocloruro.
  • Los demás componentes (excipientes) son: Talco, estearato de magnesio, povidona k 90, macrogol 6000, ácido metacrílico polimerizado, acrilato de etilo (1:1) dispersión al 30%, carmelosa sódica y agua purificada.
