2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a tomar Aralevo

No tome Aralevo

  • Si es alérgico (hipersensible) a levocetirizina dihidrocloruro o a un antihistamínico o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de Aralevo (Ver “Composición de Aralevo”).
  • Si padece un deterioro grave de la función renal (insuficiencia renal grave con un aclaramiento de creatinina inferior a 10 ml/min).

Tenga especial cuidado con Aralevo

  • No se recomienda el uso de Aralevo en niños menores de 6 años ya que los comprimidos recubiertos con película no permiten un ajuste de la dosis.

Uso de otros medicamentos

3. Cómo tomar Aralevo

Una sobredosis importante puede causar somnolencia en adultos. En niños puede dar inicialmente agitación e inquietud seguido por somnolencia.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

También se han descrito otros efectos adversos como palpitaciones, convulsiones, alteraciones visuales, edema, prurito (picor), erupción en la piel, urticaria (hinchazón, enrojecimiento y picor de la piel), respiración entrecortada, incremento de peso, dolor muscular, comportamiento agresivo o agitado, hepatitis, función hepática anormal y náuseas.

A los primeros signos de reacción de hipersensibilidad, deje de tomar Aralevo y vea a su médico inmediatamente. Los síntomas de la reacción de hipersensibilidad pueden incluir: hinchazón de la boca, lengua, cara y/o cuello, dificultad para respirar o tragar junto con habones (angioedema), disminución de la presión sanguínea repentina que puede derivar en colapso o estado de shock, los cuales pueden ser fatales.

5. Conservación de Aralevo

No requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.

Mantener fuera del alcance y de la vista de los niños.

No utilice Aralevo después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

No utilice Aralevo si observa indicios visibles de deterioro.
