No use Alcomon reforzado 96º

Si es alérgico a los principios activos de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6).

No aplicar sobre heridas profundas y extensas, ni mucosas.

Advertencias y precauciones

Consulte a su médico, farmacéutico o enfermero antes de empezar a usar Alcomon reforzado 96º.

Proteger del calor. Fácilmente inflamable. Mantener el recipiente bien cerrado.

No fumar durante su aplicación.

No poner en contacto con las mucosas.

El uso prolongado puede producir irritación y sequedad en la piel.

Puede producir dermatitis de contacto.

No aplicar sobre heridas, porque irrita el tejido dañado y porque puede formar un coágulo que protege a las bacterias resistentes.

Evitar el contacto con los ojos. Si accidentalmente se produjese contacto con los ojos, lavar abundantemente con agua y consultar a un oftalmólogo si fuese necesario.

La solución es inflamable.

El riesgo de incendio es alto cuando se usa una fuente de ignición (unidades electroquirúrgicas, láseres, fuentes de luz de fibra óptica, brocas/fresas de alta velocidad…) en combinación con el uso de una fuente de combustión (como paños, toallas…) y el uso de un oxidante (oxígeno, aire, óxido nitroso…).

Para reducir el riesgo de incendio:

  • No utilizar procedimientos de electrocauterización u otras fuentes de ignición hasta que la piel esté completamente seca.
  • Retirar cualquier material empapado, gasas o batas antes de comenzar con la intervención.
  • No usar cantidades excesivas y evitar que la solución se acumule en los pliegues de la piel, bajo el paciente o que empape las sábanas u otro material en contacto directo con el paciente.
  • Cuando se aplique vendaje oclusivo a las zonas previamente expuestas a Alcomon reforzado 96º, se debe de tener especial cuidado de que no haya exceso de producto antes de colocar el vendaje.
  • Reducir el aporte de oxígeno o cualquier otro oxidante al mínimo necesario. Aquellos procedimientos que se realicen en la cabeza, cuello y la parte superior del pecho (por encima de T5) y el uso de una fuente de ignición cerca de un oxidante ponen al paciente en riesgo de sufrir un incendio quirúrgico.

Embarazo

Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, cree que pudiera estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar este medicamento.

Conducción y uso de máquinas

La influencia de este medicamento sobre la capacidad para conducir y utilizar máquinas es nula o insignificante.

3. Cómo usar Alcomon reforzado 96º

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración de este medicamento indicadas por su médico o farmacéutico. En caso de duda, consulte de nuevo a su médico o farmacéutico.

Uso cutáneo. Solo para uso externo. NO INGERIR.

Aplicar directamente sobre el área a tratar, dejar actuar 2 minutos antes de cualquier procedimiento.

Se recomienda lavar las manos después de cada aplicación.

5. Conservación de Alcomon reforzado 96º

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

Inflamable. Evitar la exposición del frasco y de su contenido a llamas abiertas durante el uso, almacenamiento y eliminación del producto.

No conservar a temperatura superior a 30ºC.

Es fácilmente inflamable. Conservar en el embalaje original para protegerlo de la luz.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües, ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que ya no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

Composición por 100 ml de Alcomon reforzado 96º:

El principio activo es etanol 96% (alcohol 96º) y cloruro de cetilpiridinio.

Cada ml de solución contiene 0,999 ml de etanol al 96% (alcohol 96º) y 1mg de cloruro de cetilpiridinio.

Cada 100ml de solución contiene 99,9ml de etanol al 96% (alcohol 96º) y 0,1g de cloruro de cetilpiridinio

No tiene otros componentes (excipientes).

Aspecto del producto y contenido del envase

Solución cutánea transparente.

Se presenta en envases transparentes de 250ml y 1000ml de polietileno provisto de tapón y obturador.
