1. Qué es Acetilcisteina ARISTO 600 mg comprimidos efervescentes y para qué se utiliza

Se presenta en forma de comprimidos efervescentes redondos, blancos, lisos y de olor a moras.

Cada envase contiene 10 o 20 comprimidos efervescentes.

La acetilcisteína actúa disminuyendo la viscosidad del moco, fluidificándolo y facilitando su eliminación.

Este medicamento está indicado para reducir la viscosidad de los mocos y flemas, facilitando su expulsión, en procesos catarrales y gripales.

  • Padece usted: úlcera de estómago o duodeno

Tenga especial cuidado conAcetilcisteinaARISTO600 mgcomprimidos efervescentes:

  • Si es usted asmático o padece una enfermedad respiratoria grave,deberá consultar con el médico antes de tomar este medicamento.
  • El posible olor azufrado (a huevos podridos) del medicamento es propio del principio activo, pero no indica que el medicamento esté en malas condiciones.
  • Si al tomar el medicamento observa molestias en el estómago. En ese caso, deberá suspender el tratamiento y consultar al médico.
  • Durante los primeros días de tratamiento podrá observar un aumento de mocos y flemas, que irá disminuyendo a lo largo del tratamiento.

Debe utilizarse con precaución en aquellas personas cuya actividad requiera atención y que hayan observado somnolencia durante el tratamiento con este fármaco.

Este medicamento contiene lactosa. Si su médico le ha indicado que padece una intolerancia a ciertos azúcares, consulte con él antes de tomar este medicamento.

Este medicamento contiene 138,145 mg de sodio por comprimido, lo que debe ser tenido en cuenta en pacientes con dietas pobres en sodio.

Toma de otros medicamentos:

No administrar conjuntamente con medicamentos antitusivos (para la tos) o con aquellos que disminuyen las secreciones bronquiales (como los antihistamínicos y los anticolinérgicos,…), ya que se puede provocar un acumulo de moco fluidificado.

Debe espaciarse su toma al menos dos horas de la ingestión de minerales como el hierro, calcio y algunos antibióticos (amfotericina B, ampicilina sódica, cefalosporinas, lactobionato, eritromicina y algunas tetraciclinas.)

3. Cómo tomar Acetilcisteina ARISTO 600 mg comprimidos efervescentes

AcetilcisteinaARISTO600 mg comprimidos efervescentes es un medicamento que se toma por vía oral.

Siga estas instrucciones, a menos que su médico le haya dado otras indicaciones distintas.

Las dosis usuales deacetilcisteínason:

  • Adultos: administrar 1 comprimido efervescente (600 mg) en una sola toma. No superar la dosis de 1 comprimido efervescente (600 mg) al día.

Los comprimidos efervescentes deben disolverse en un vaso de agua. No ingerir hasta que haya cesado completamente el burbujeo.

Se recomienda beber abundante cantidad de líquido durante el día.

Si los síntomas empeoran, o si persisten después de5 díasde tratamiento, o se produce: fiebre, erupciones en la piel, dolor de cabeza persistente o dolor de garganta, debe consultar a un médico.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Como todos los medicamentos,AcetilcisteinaARISTO600 mg comprimidos efervescentes puede tener efectos adversos.

En raras ocasiones (menos de un 1 por cada 1000 pero más de 1 por cada 10.000pacientes)puede aparecer somnolencia, náuseas, vómitos, dolor de cabeza, dolor y ardor de estómago, diarreas, erupción cutánea y zumbido de oídos.

5. Conservación de Acetilcisteina ARISTO 600 mg comprimidos efervescentes

Mantener fuera dela vista y del alcancede los niños.

Caducidad:

No utilizarAcetilcisteinaARISTO600 mg comprimidos efervescentes después de la fecha de caducidad indicada en el envase.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGREde la farmacia. 6. INFORMACIÓN ADICIONAL PARA EL PACIENTE

Algunos procesos gripales y catarrales pueden acompañarse de acumulación de moco en las vías respiratorias. En ocasiones, este moco se hace espeso y se adhiere a las paredes de dichas vías.

Esto explica que en dichos procesos se produzca tos como un mecanismo de defensa del propio organismo ante la aparición de mucosidad, para expulsar las flemas y despejar las vías respiratorias.

AcetilcisteinaARISTO600 mg comprimidos efervescentes fluidifica el moco adherido, despegándolo. Al finalizar el proceso catarral o gripal, se produce una disminución de la mucosidad y, por lo tanto, de latos necesaria para eliminarla.
