1. What is Zolmitriptan Flas Teva-ratio and what is it used for

Zolmitriptan Flas Teva-ratio belongs to a group of medicines called triptans.

Zolmitriptan Flas Teva-ratio is used to treat migraine headaches in adults aged 18 and over.

  • The symptoms of migraine can be caused by the dilation (widening) of blood vessels in the head. It is thought that zolmitriptan flas reduces the dilation of these blood vessels. This helps to relieve the headache and other symptoms of a migraine attack, such as feeling sick (nausea and vomiting) and sensitivity to light and sound.
  • Zolmitriptan flas only works when a migraine attack has already started. It will not prevent you from getting a migraine attack.
