In very rare cases, Omapren may affect white blood cells in the blood and cause immunodeficiency. If you experience an infection with symptoms such as fever with a general state of deterioration or fever with symptoms of local infection, such as neck pain, throat pain, or mouth pain, or difficulty urinating, you should consult your doctor as soon as possible to perform a blood test and rule out a lack of white blood cells (agranulocytosis).
