This medication belongs to the group of topical ophthalmic medications. It contains diclofenac sodium as the active ingredient, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID).

Other medications and Diclofenaco Abamed
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have used recently, or may have to use any other medication.
No interactions with other medications have been described to date in ocular application.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or intend to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medication.
Diclofenaco Abamed should not be used in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Do not use Diclofenaco Abamed during the first 6 months of pregnancy, unless it is strictly necessary and recommended by your doctor. If you need treatment during this period, you should take the minimum dose possible for the shortest time possible.
Oral formulations (e.g., tablets) of Diclofenaco Abamed may cause adverse reactions to the fetus. It is unknown if this same risk applies to Diclofenaco Abamed when used for the eyes.
Driving and operating machinery
It is advisable to avoid applying the eye drops before driving vehicles or operating machinery.
Diclofenaco Abamed contains boric acid
Do not administer to children under 2 years of age, as this medication contains boron and may affect fertility in the future.
Follow exactly the administration instructions for this medication as indicated by your doctor or pharmacist.In case of doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist again..
Your doctor will indicate the duration of your treatment with Diclofenaco Abamed.Do not discontinue treatment before the indicated time.

If you estimate that the action of Diclofenaco Abamed is too strong or too weak, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Instructions for the correct use of Diclofenaco Abamed
If you use more Diclofenaco Abamed than you should
In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately, or call the Toxicological Information Service, phone: 91 562 04 20.
If you forgot to use Diclofenaco Abamed
Do not apply a double dose to compensate for the missed doses.
If you have any other questions about the use of this product, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Like all medications,this medicationmay cause adverse effects, although not everyone will experience them.
Occasionally, as occurs with other eye drops in the same therapeutic class, a mild or moderate transient stinging sensation may occur shortly after application of the eye drop. Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions with pruritus (itching), erythema (redness), and photosensitivity (sensitivity to light) may occur. Additionally, with an unknown frequency, a burning sensation in the eye may occur.
Reporting Adverse Effects
If you experience any type of adverse effect, consult your doctor or pharmacist, even if it is a possible adverse effect not listed in this prospectus. You may also report them directly through the Spanish System for Pharmacovigilance of Medicinal Products for Human Use: www.notificaRAM.es. By reporting adverse effects, you can contribute to providing more information about the safety of this medication.
Keep this medication out of the sight and reach of children.
No special storage conditions are required.
This medication does not contain preservatives. After opening and after use, the single-dose packaging should be discarded, even if only partially used.
Do not usethis medicationafter the expiration date that appears on the packaging after CAD. The expiration date is the last day of the month indicated.
Medications should not be thrown down the drain or in the trash. Dispose of the packaging and medications you no longer need at the SIGRE collection point at the pharmacy. If in doubt, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the packaging and medications you no longer need. By doing so, you will help protect the environment.
