1. Qué es Variliv Troxerutina y para qué se utiliza

El principio activo de Variliv Troxerutina es troxerutina, que pertenece al grupo de medicamentos Vasoprotectores, que protegen los vasos sanguíneos (vasoprotectores sistémicos).

Está indicado, en adultos, para el alivio de los síntomas de la insuficiencia venosa leve de las piernas, tales como:

  • hormigueo y picor en piernas con varices

Conducción y uso de máquinas

Puede experimentar fatiga y mareos con el uso de Variliv Troxerutina, aunque es raro. Si esto sucede, no conduzca ni utilice máquinas.

Variliv Troxerutina contiene sodio

Este medicamento contiene menos de 23 mg de sodio (1 mmol) por sobre; esto es, esencialmente “exento de sodio”.

3. Cómo tomar Variliv Troxerutina

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración del medicamento contenidas en este prospecto o las indicadas por su médico o farmacéutico. En caso de duda, pregunte a su médico o farmacéutico.

Adultos:

La dosis recomendada es de 1 sobre al día.

El alivio de los síntomas se produce habitualmente en las primeras 2 semanas de tratamiento. Si no siente alivio a las 2 semanas o los síntomas empeoran, debe consultar al médico.

Por indicación del médico se puede continuar el tratamiento con la misma dosis diaria (1 sobre) hasta 2-3 meses.

Uso en niños y adolescentes

Este medicamento es para adultos, los niños no pueden tomarlo a no ser que su médico lo considere necesario.

Cómo tomar

Disolver el contenido del sobre en 1 vaso de agua y beber a continuación.

Si toma más Variliv Troxerutina del que debe

En caso de sobredosis o ingestión accidental consulte inmediatamente a su médico o farmacéutico o llame al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono 91 562 04 20, indicando el medicamento y la cantidad ingerida.

No tome una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, este medicamento puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

Si seexperimentan alguno de estos síntomas, que pueden ser signos de una reacción alérgica/anafiloide, cese el tratamiento y consulte a un médico inmediatamente:

  • dificultad para respirar o tragar;
  • hinchazón de la cara, labios, lengua o garganta;

Efectos adversos raros: pueden afectar hasta 1 de cada 1.000 pacientes.

Trastorno gastrointestinal, flatulencia, diarrea, dolor abdominal, molestias de estómago, dispepsia, erupción, picor o urticaria.

Reacciones alérgicas.

5. Conservación de Variliv Troxerutina

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Este medicamento no requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda, pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

Composición de Variliv Troxerutina

  • El principio activo es troxerutina. Cada sobre contiene 1000 mg de troxerutina.
  • Los demás componentes son: manitol (E-421), sacarina sódica (E-954) y aroma de naranja (preparados aromatizantes, sustancias aromatizantes, sustancias aromatizantes naturales, maltodextrina de maíz, goma arábiga (E-414), ácido ascórbico (E-300) y hidroxianisol butilado (BHA) (E-320)).
