1. What is SalviaMed tablets and what is it used for

SalviaMed tablets, is a traditional herbal medicine used for the relief of hot flushes during menopause, night sweats and excessive sweating, based exclusively on its traditional use.

2. Before taking SalviaMed tablets

Do not take SalviaMed tabletsif you:

  • Are allergic to sage (Salvia officinalis)or any of the other

components of this medication.

  • Are under 18 years of age.
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Be especially careful with SalviaMed tablets

  • If symptoms worsen or no improvement is observed after 8 weeks

of treatment, consult your doctor.

  • This medication contains saccharose. If your doctor has commented that you have

intolerance to certain sugars, consult your doctor before using this

medication.

Use of other medications:

If you are being treated with anxiolytic medications such as benzodiazepines or

barbiturates, consult your doctor before using this medication.

Pregnancy and Lactation

As a precaution and in the absence of sufficient data, use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.

IMPORTANT FOR WOMEN

If you are pregnant or believe you may be pregnant, consult your doctor before

taking this medication. The consumption of medications during pregnancy

can be hazardous to the embryo or fetus and should be monitored by your doctor.

Driving and use of machinery:

Based on current knowledge, it does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and use machinery.

3. How to take SalviaMed tablets

The recommended dose is: adults (over 18 years old), take one

tablet per day.

SalviaMed tablets are a medication administered orally

This product is not indicated for patients under 18 years old.

Follow the medication administration instructions contained in this leaflet or those indicated by your doctor or pharmacist.

If symptoms worsen or no improvement is observed after 8 weeks of treatment, consult a doctor.

If you take more SalviaMed tablets than you should:

It is unlikely that symptoms or toxicity will manifest.

In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, visit a medical center or consult the Toxicological Information Service, phone 91 562 0420, indicating the medication and the amount used.

If you forgot to take SalviaMed tablets

Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed doses.

4. Possible Adverse Effects

Make sure you have read section 2 of this prospectus.

Do not take SalviaMed tablets if you are allergic to sage (Salvia officinalis)or

any of the other components of this medication.

Adverse effects have not been reported with the use of sage extract products.

If you experience adverse effects, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

If you experience any type of adverse effect, consult your doctor or pharmacist or nurse, even if it is a possible adverse effect not listed in this prospectus. 5. Conservation of SalviaMed Tablets

  • Keep this medication out of the sight and reach of children
  • Do not use SalviaMed tablets after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
  • Use it within 8 months after opening.
  • No special storage conditions are required.
  • Do not use the medication if you notice any changes in its appearance. SalviaMed tablets are brown-yellow, oblong tablets.

Medications should not be disposed of through drains or in the trash. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the packaging and unused medications. This will help protect the environment.

51 mg of dried extract of fresh leaves ofSalvia officinalisL, corresponding to 3400 mg of extract (as tincture)
