1. What is InhalVicks and what is it used for
InhalVicks is a nasal decongestant. Indicated in adults and children over 6 years of age for the relief of nasal congestion associated with allergic and infectious disorders of the upper respiratory tract.
You should consult a doctor if it worsens or does not improve after 7 days.
2. What you need to know before using InhalVicks
Do not use InhalVicks
- if you are allergic to the active substances or to any of the other components of this medicine (listed in section 6),
- in children under 6 years of age.
Warnings and precautions
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before starting to use InhalVicks.
Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days.
To prevent contagion, avoid letting other people use the same package.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
Other medicines and InhalVicks
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have recently used, or may need to use any other medicine.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or plan to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
InhalVicks is contraindicated during pregnancy.
Driving and using machines
InhalVicks does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.
3. How to use InhalVicks
Follow the administration instructions of the medicine contained in this package leaflet or as indicated by your doctor or pharmacist. In case of doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is:
Adults and children over 6 years of age:
1 or 2 inhalations in each nostril. Repeat every 1-2 hours if necessary.
For nasal use. Unscrew the threaded cap. Insert into the nostril while keeping the other nostril closed. Inhale deeply.
Use in children
InhalVicks is contraindicated in children under 6 years of age.
If you use more InhalVicks than you should
If you use too much of this medicine, consult your doctor or the emergency service of the nearest hospital immediately.
In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, go immediately to a medical center or call the Toxicology Information Service (telephone 91 562 04 20), indicating the medicine and the amount ingested. Bring this package leaflet with you to the hospital or doctor.
In case of accidental ingestion of InhalVicks in children, consult your doctor immediately for the necessary treatment. Do not try to induce vomiting.
If you forget to use InhalVicks
Do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten doses.
If you stop treatment with InhalVicks
If you have any other doubts about the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
During the period of use of InhalVicks, the following side effects have been observed, whose frequency could not be established with accuracy.
Very rarely, a feeling of nasal discomfort has been reported.
If you think any of the side effects you are suffering from is serious or if you notice any side effect not mentioned in this package leaflet, tell your doctor or pharmacist.

5. Conservation of InhalVicks
No special storage conditions are required.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiration date stated on the package after CAD. The expiration date is the last day of the month indicated.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Deposit the packages and medicines you no longer need at the SIGRE collection point in your pharmacy. In case of doubt, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of packages and medicines you no longer need. This way, you will help protect the environment.

Composition of InhalVicks
The active substances per 1 ml of medicinal solution are: 396.7 mg of camphor and 396.7 mg of menthol.
The other components are: methyl salicylate, pine essential oil.
Appearance of the product and contents of the package
Nasal stick containing a cellulose felt impregnated with 1.0 ml of medicinal solution, contained in a plastic support with a threaded cap.
