1. What CASTAÑO DE INDIAS ARKOPHARMA is and what it is used for

Traditional herbal medicine for the relief of symptoms associated with mild venous circulation disorders, such as discomfort and heaviness in the legs, and for the symptomatic treatment of hemorrhoids, based exclusively on traditional use.

2. What you need to know before taking CASTAÑO DE INDIAS ARKOPHARMA

If you are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the other components of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Children

It is not recommended to administer to children under 12 years of age.

Taking CASTAÑO DE INDIAS ARKOPHARMA with other medicines

Inform your pharmacist or doctor if you are using, have recently used, or may need to use any other medicine.

Taking CASTAÑO DE INDIAS ARKOPHARMA with food and drinks

Food and drinks do not affect the effect of the medicine.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or plan to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant or breastfeeding women, so its administration is not recommended.

Driving and using machines

No effect on the ability to drive and use machines has been reported.

3. How to take CASTAÑO DE INDIAS ARKOPHARMA

Follow exactly the administration instructions of the medicine contained in this package leaflet or as indicated by your pharmacist or doctor. In case of doubt, ask your pharmacist or doctor.

The recommended dose is:

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: take 2 capsules at breakfast and 2 capsules at dinner. The dose can be increased to 3 capsules per intake.

This medicine is for oral use.

If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 4 weeks of treatment, you should consult your pharmacist or doctor.

Use in children

It is not recommended to administer to children under 12 years of age.

If you take more CASTAÑO DE INDIAS ARKOPHARMA than you should

No cases of overdose with CASTAÑO DE INDIAS ARKOPHARMA have been reported.

In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, consult your doctor, pharmacist, or call the Toxicology Information Service, phone 91-562 04 20, indicating the medicine and the amount ingested.

If you forget to take CASTAÑO DE INDIAS ARKOPHARMA

In case of forgetting a dose, take the medicine as soon as possible, continuing the treatment as prescribed. However, if the next dose is near, it is better not to take the forgotten dose and wait for the next one. Do not take a double dose to make up for the forgotten doses.

4. Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

At the recommended doses, CASTAÑO DE INDIAS ARKOPHARMA does not present side effects.

5. Storage of CASTAÑO DE INDIAS ARKOPHARMA

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not store above 30°C.

Do not use this medicine after the expiration date stated on the packaging, after the abbreviation "CAD". The expiration date is the last day of the month indicated.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Deposit the packaging and medicines you no longer need at the pharmacy's SIGRE point. In case of doubt, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the packaging and medicines you no longer need. This way, you will help protect the environment.

Composition of CASTAÑO DE INDIAS ARKOPHARMA

Each capsule contains as an active ingredient: 275 mg of cryomilled bark of Aesculus hippocastanumL.(Horse Chestnut).

The other components are the excipients: hypromellose (capsule coating).
